@ andygaro. i think the Electribes are " fun "...... i think only a few serious audio nuts would hear the difference... the TB-303's truly are a unique sound seriously expense, that's if you can find one! XOXbox's are the next best thing and i think would be sound great with a Electribe..
What gear could you put together for the price of a secondhand EMX or ESX that comes up to your standards? please post a Video response.....
@DJCJ999 xox really good,i know. maybe try 303 plug in ?(rebirth) or just make different music other than 303 acid on the esx cause it just doesnt sound right. check my uploads on my channel to see what can come out of the korg and let me know. respect!
you need an emx,i swear they are made for goa.it has like 14 different analog synth engines built in and some decent effects and modulation.i am impressed that you could get all of that done with just the esx,it took a lot of time i'm sure.give the emx a shot,it will become a part of your body as mine has become part of me :)
@smokingclowndog yeah I believe using emx is much better, in fact I didn't even know the differece between emx and esx when I bought this red machine! ;P
@smokingclowndog what the hell are u talking about maaan?? first of all the emx is not analog it's not even virtual analog( like all clavia for example).it's a just a normal digital sequencer/synthetizer with digital effects. it has two valve tubes for extra warmth and distorsion.it has five separate synth parts(not engines and definetly not 14 ! haha). emx and esx are identical in evrey function, knob and sound exept the esx-1 replaced 3 synthparts with sampleparts. also..esx1 has better kicks
@smokingclowndog oh by the way...to make real goa all u need is tb 303(real analog sequencer from roland)...and lots of them. the emx or esx1 do not have a good reproduction of that. it's shit...expecially low cut off frequencies on high resonance...it's missing lots of digital algorithms of the original clean fluid analog signal. it's digital ,it's shit.,it's parameters of the analog signal (only some of them) reproduced/copied.

You can improve the sound of the high hat a lot by pitching it until you feel how it REALLY fits into your musical piece.

Can this thing tell you what key you are playing in? I want to get one so I can play bass and guitar over some beats.

wich one is better to make any kind of trance ESX or EMX ? (Going more into FullOn and dark)
BlueThor1 5 months ago
@BlueThor1 EMX is better in terms of "ease of use", ESX is a sampler so perhaps u need to prepare some sample b4 actual playing...
