I'm so sorry for your loss...Eisblume was a beautiful girl. I lost my first shepherd at the negligent hands of a veterinarian. She let my Princess get hit by a car while being boarded at her indoor kennels. My little girl died the next day... she was only 13 months old. Heaven must be a beautiful place with so many animal companions. God bless.
She reminds me so much of my beloved black GSD, Jaeger, who I had for 13 1/2 wonderful years. He, too, was solid black and so beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
This is absolutely wonderful. She is a beautiful dog and looks just like my dog Kita who passed from cancer on March 20, 2009. Kita was a beautiful dog, just like Eisblume, and she was my rock. The only thing that keeps me going is I know that one day we will be together again, over the Rainbow Bridge.
Recently pulled a dog from the high kill shelter that was an hour away from death that looks just like your pup. You're pup is beautiful, she lived a life any shelter dog will envy.
I couldn't help crying looking at her. I am so sorry for your lose. and bless you for making this video. I wish we all can give care and love for animals like you did for Eisblume. She will always be remembered. I will for sure. :((

What a beautiful, beautiful baby girl!! You are so blessed to have had her for fourteen years, although it is still not long enough! I am so in love with my two GSD's that I think I would go numb if something happened to either of them. They are truly a gift from God. Thank you so very much for sharing your baby with the world, it was very moving.
i am sorry. my dog had to be giveing away because she had anger whith my little brother . i crid so hard and scemed my haet out she was my life. her name was soinck a jack rusle pepole say you will get over it bot some times i criy when noe one is awake i was 8 then. now i am 11
I've lost 1 dog due to an injury that prevented me from doing my best for my '95 boy. Your last foto of your girl was devastating. I cannot even imagine your pain.
i'm sorry for your loss. my german shepherd just began going through the same thing. i was thinking about putting her down until i saw this video. i didn't know they could possibly live that long while having this problem. she's 12
i don't know what to do. i'm afraid she'll die alone while i'm out working. she deserves better than that. i was thinking it could be quick and painless with me with her at the end .now i don't know what to do. i assume she's in pain.
Thank you for your lovely comment! Eisblume was a dream come true and was loved beyond all love. She gave her all every minute of every day...and would have given her life for her family. I will forever be so fortunate to have had her in my life.Wishing you a Blessed Christmas and may all your wishes become real!
Your beautiful comment has me in tears. I can't thank you enough for watching our Blume and for writing such a heartfelt and lovely comment. I am so sorry to read that you lost your beautiful girl in September. I am sure you are still the sun of her universe and I am sure she is now having a great time on the beautiful Other Side.
She was a beautiful dog. I was afraid I would be losing my Austrailian Shepherd/border collie this past spring, but she pulled through. An answer to a lot of prayers. I have only had to bury one dog and it was more my parents' dog than mine and she lived a long, good life. It was still so sad. Makes you want to hug your dog that's for sure. I hope you are coping with your loss.
I am so happy to read that your girl pulled through her hard time. I hope you have many more happy and healthy years with her. Thank you so very much for writing and for watching our Eisblume. There is never a day that goes by that we don't miss her still.
The whole video took me 20min to watch because I had to stop it every now and then to hold myself from crying :| Sorry for your loss. I lost my Husky, Sky when I was little. Ill soon be getting a GSD. Im glad you guys had lots of fun and Im sure Eisblume had a great life.
Thank you so very much for writing such a caring and kind comment. I sure hope you get a GSD soon - they are the best dogs without a doubt. First dogs are so hard to say good bye to - I'm sorry about Sky.
Se lived for 16 years? Wow incredible you must be blessed. My first dog only lived with us for 4 years and even today i still wish she could have lived longer. I guess we humans really arent in control of their lives. When its their time to cross over theres nothing we can do to stop it. You so lucky she lived for so long hopefully the two GS i have now will live that long. I intend to do my best to make it happen. Hopefully we will all meet again one day, God bless.
What a beautiful comment! Thank you so much for writing and yes - Eisblume lived just short of 16 fabulous years. We are absolutely blessed that she lived so long - she taught us so much about life and love.
I hope your GSDs will have a healthy and long life - I am sure you will do your best to make that happen.
Thank you so much for writing. I have Lightfoot's Tribute Video on my youtube page under "favorites". You did such an incredible job with him and with his video. Even though it's been almost two years since Blume crossed over, every day is still hard knowing that she is no longer physically here.

Here it is almost 2 weeks since my big boy Jake past away and I am still very, very sad! I owe my Jake and my young family a tribute that will be out in cyberspace forever.
I am going to look at a few GSD pups tomorrow...and for some reason, they look like my old boy Jake.
I keep thinking about the years when we grew up together, all of the exploring we did. How he watched over all three of my daughters as they grew up. What a GREAT, great friend..too bad he's gone. NO more stairs to climb!
I am so very sorry to read about your beloved boy Jake. The sadness you feel is horrible - I know. I hope that you find a wonderful GSD puppy to fill your heart with love. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
I feel the same way you do - why can't dogs be with us for a lifetime......it is so sad when their time comes to cross over.
Thank you so much for watching Eisblume's video and for writing! I hope you find a wonderful black German shepherd and when you do - I hope you have a wonderful, long and healthy life together.
Nicely put together....showing your beautiful dog's life and then going backwards in time when it was a pup...very sad!
She was a champ! I swear these dogs are smarter than us humans as my 14 year old waited for me to come home before he died in my arms this past week. He waited and 15 minutes after I got home (with Steak left overs) he gasped 3 times and left my family.
We miss Jake beyond explanation. Your video helps!! RIP Eisblume...I hope big Jake hangs out with you!
I am so very sorry that you just lost your beloved Jake. Oh - that just breaks my heart. Thank you for sharing your story - I'm crying now - I can only imagine what you went through.
Thank you for watching Eisblume's video and for writing such a beautiful comment.
I am so happy to read that Blume's video helped you.
RIP Jake and I'll keep your family in my prayers.
The mere fact that you are kind enough to reply means the world to us.....very thoughtful! Eisblume was just a superb dog who gave us 150%of herself every day of her entire life. She is so missed! Blessings, not losses!
Hi and thank you so much for writing. We were blessed to have Eisblume for so many years - She was in her sixteenth year when she passed away. Thank you again for watching Eisblume and for writing such a caring note.
Beautiful girl!!! I am sure she is in heaven now. When my dog died,I prayed, and I had a spiritual experience. There is something for them after death too. They are also God's creatures. They are our little angels on earth.
Hi. Thank you so much for your beautiful comments. I truly believe that there is a beautiful Other Side for everyone - especially our beloved canine companions and yes, they are our angels on earth. Thank you again so very much for watching Eisblume and for your lovely comment.
Oh my God. I am so very sorry to read what happened to you and your girl. How terrible. I am happy that Eisblume's tribute brought back some heart warming memories for you. It never gets any easier but remembering the happy times is so wonderful. Thank you for watching Eisblume and for sharing your story. I greatly apprectiate it.
I feel with you, my Flocke, with 17 years to cancer in April 2006, died. When I was your video of "EISBLUME" saw, I had tears in their eyes! In Memory of "and FLOCKE EISBLUME"
I am so sorry to read that your Flocke passed away.....I hope Eisblume's video gave you some comfort. If only because of their similar names - I am sure that they, Flocke and Eis, have found eachother on the Other Side. Thank you for writing and for your kind words.
I wish you comfort too as I know, it never gets any easier - even as the years pass - our love for them never changes and it certainly never dies.
Thank you for watching Eisblume......she was a most special German Shepherd. She adored her family and defended them until her last breath. She is so very missed by her humans as well as her canine pack. When becoming a vet i have learned that compassion is a must as well as hearing what the human is telling, not just listening. Looking "outside the box" is just as important as seeing the "obvious" Blessings to you.xxoo,Eisblume and me
Please, how was she misdiagnosed??? if you can offer any information to help me with my three dogs, I would be forever grateful. I am so sorry about your pup. She is the ultimate beauty. God Bless.
Hi and thank you so much for watching Blume's video and for writing. Eisblume had sudden onset symptoms of excessive drinking, urinating and vomiting. Her "vets" at the time passed her symptoms off as "renal failure from old age". Over the next weeks, Eisblume was deteriorating quickly and getting much worse - still her "vets" discarded her symptoms and my deep concerns. That is what led to acute renal failure. Her serious kidney infection went undiagnosed.
Thank you for your kind words and for writing. Eisblume will always be our Special Girl and we greatly appreciate you writing. We are the only advocates our canine companions get and we must do everything in our power to make sure that their voices are heard......no matter what. Thank you again.
such a beautiful dog,and tribute..i cried so much i had to stop for awhile and then start again..the love expresses in this video between you and your dogs is overwhelming..its so sad that the world is full of neglectful Vets and breeders...we lost Rosie on 8/1/07 due to Bone cancer and severe Hip Dysplasia at the age of 3....so sorry for your loss but ty for this wonderful video in her memory.
I'm so sorry to read that you lost your beloved Rosie and at such a young and tender age. Thank you so much for writing your kind words during your own very difficult time - I am sure that Eisblume and Rosie are playing on The Beatiful Other Side together.....healthy and forever young until we meet them again. I will keep you in my prayers too and I hope that your heart can heal and be filled with the wonderful memories of your beloved Rosie....always Thank you again....
Thank you for taking time to watch Eisblume's tribute. She was a 'special' dog with an enormous love of her humans...especially children! Vet negligence and malpractice is very common with most animal owners never knowing as "all" is hidden in B/S rhetoric. Many animal owners do not know better so all is believed! Your condolences are very kind and appreciated. Blessings from Blumee and me!
Thank you for you kind words and support.Eisblume was a very special girl with undying love and protection of her family.Yes,she lived a wonderful life but her last year was less than ideal due to veterinary negligence and malpractice. She was funny, loving, elegant, forgiving and stoic. This video is a tribute to her hoping that others see what inept veterinarians can do to an animal. Blessings!
I saw the vidoes on your beautiful Eisblume. It's so sad how this happened. Some doctors shouldn't be practicing. I love dogs as you know from talking to you in the office many times. Hang in there. I am sure Eisblume is looking down at you thanking you for all the love and compassion you had for her.
Thank you for watching our precious Eisblume! She was the most loving and intuitive dog who would have given her life for her family. As I honor her for all of those things,I will do my utmost to see that this horrific thing never happens to any animal. Our pets are our family members, not just property!See ya in a couple!
Thank you so very much for your kind words. I am so sorry to read that your beloved canine companion passed away. It is so difficult dealing with the loss of a best friend and you are right, we will never forget Eisblume, her determination and her love of all things. How could we ever forget a true best friend who gave us so much.
Thank you for watching Eisblume's Video Tribute and for taking the time to write. Eisblume always touched so many people....and even now she has inspired so many with her Tribute.
Thank you again for watching and for taking the time to write.
Thank you for watching Eisblume's story. We were so blessed having her in our life. If love could have saved her she would have lived forever. May all who watch these videos share her story with others so no other dogs are harmed by vet negligence.Eisblume lives on in her legacy.
Thank you "Mar". We were so fortunate to have had her for 15+ years. She was my"heart song"and is missed more than I ever could have imagined. She is pain free now and I am sure she is bossin',barkin' n bitchin'while trying to find a child to love on!
Thank you for watching!. Eisblume was beautiful....outside and inside as well. Very devoted .....she would have givem her life for us without a second thought. Right now the pain is atrocious, but thinking of sweet memories helps! Sad that a vet made her last year so painful for both of us!
Thank you for your kind words..they were very comforting. Eisblume lived each day for her "family" whether it be bossing her pack or licking our tears away. If laughter was needed in a situation, her trick was to throw a stuffed toy into the air to change the mood. I will forever look to the sky for those toys. When it is my time to catch one I will join her to cross the Bridge.
How can this not bring us to tears. Thank you for sharing with us your love for this beautiful creature. I glad there are people like you out there...not only for us but for the animals.
Thank you for your thoughtful words. Dogs give you unconditional love and with Eisblume it was so very easy to return that devotion. I always told her that I will love her forever and like her for always.and that I did and still do!
Thank you for writing! Having her for 15+ years was a GIFT.Besides my children, Eis was the best gift I ever received from my husband. She was what a GSD dog should be and then some. I take comfort knowing she is pain free now.
Michele...you are so sweet! Eisblume brightened our lives and she lived everyday as if it was her last! A serious, but joyful soul. She always put her human family first....from protecting them or tattling on her pack members or to lick away my tears. She was special!
I'm so sorry for your loss...Eisblume was a beautiful girl. I lost my first shepherd at the negligent hands of a veterinarian. She let my Princess get hit by a car while being boarded at her indoor kennels. My little girl died the next day... she was only 13 months old.

Again, thank you for writing.
