I have a question. Will Corsair h100 do a good job cooling the cpu and can I cool everything else on air and still get a decent air flow with Cooler Master HAF 932?
@aunshi360 Its most likely the noise of the hard drive itself, not vibration. The only way to avoid this (without replacing the drive with something quieter) is to put some sound proofing material around the HDD area somehow, without blocking airflow to it. You don't need to fully surround it just partially.
@2000jago I've never built a computer before but use one everyday, I've always thought that putting a computer together was really hard. But after watching a lot of youtube videos on custom built computers i've realised its really easy; just connect A to A then B to B and so on. These videos are really informative and will save me lots of money when i get a new computer built myself.
@SingularityComputers By taking apart, cleaning and re-assembling my first computer. A 486dx20. The same principals still apply. Actually today it's easier because of plug n play. No more setting jumbers for IRQ, DMA etc. No config.sys or autoexec.bat to deal with either.
@BapeGangsta Building a computer does not require any "skill". You plug it all together, tighten a few screws and off you go. Everything can only fit where it SHOULD fit so it's almost impossible to fuck it up. If this is too challenging for you, then you should consider yourself EXTREMELY technophobic and consult a professional. I'm not a surgeon, I don't look on youtube how to perform surgery on myself, I go to a professional trained in this field and let him do his thing.
@2000jago I didn't say that anything was too challenging for anyone all i said is i don't understand your comment the way it was stated. I don't see an issue in looking up a guide for something that your new to or thinking about doing and trying to find tips or avoid a possible mistake. Also surgeons or any other trained professionals need to start off somewhere too. I'm not trying to argue i understand what your saying now since you responded. Thank you
@BapeGangsta My point is simply that if you are too inept to assemble a computer on your own using logic and minimal mechanical skill then you are probably better off having someone capable do it for you. Putting a pile of expensive hardware in the hands of someone with nothing but watching a youtube video as inspiration is a recipe for disaster. Know your limitations in other words. Not sure how many more ways I can say the same thing...
@2000jago Once again I understand what your saying. My point was only that when looking into things that your new to, I don't think it hurts for people to get information from a few different places. No one is inept, no one is EXTREMELY technophobic, and it's not too challenging. Can you please stop with the little insults because they are not needed. Thanks again for responding and explaining your point of view. appreciated.
@BapeGangsta At what point did I ever suggest that it "hurts people" to get _information_ via youtube video's? You invented that premise in your own mind. For someone claiming not to want to argue, you seem to be very concerned with playing the "who's going to have the last word" game with me. And lastly, if you find something I say insulting, it is you that is to blame. I have no control over what you CHOOSE to take as an insult. Get over yourself, nobody's "out to get you"...
@RPMANU He is one of my mates. He wanted a budget-ish gaming machine. We couldn't be bothered ordering in another case though, we had the Fractal R3 in stock...so we used it.
Oh my God. Million-Dollar-Pc is tech porn. Thank you, haha.

If you need a youtube video to do this, you have no place doing it to begin with. It's not rocket science.

@RPMANU Because the GTX 460 is what we had lying around. My mate does not know anything about overclocking, so we stuck with the 2500.
