If you ever find someone wanting to ban the breed. just ask Cesar Millan to come and speak on your behalf. he is considered an Expert on the subject and his testimony carries weight.
I find that most people are responsive once they are informed about "any" dogs behavior. its the same with kids they need direction and training. if you train a dog to fight, thats what it will do. you train it to obey, thats what it will do. its all in the owners hands. sadly most are never given that chance!

ALL dogs that are capable of killing another animal or human being should wear a muzzle in public and be kept on a leash. That way there is no discimination between owners.

anytime a guard says to me , why dont you have a muzzle on that dog i say hes a sweedish elkhound there to rare where i live to be band yet so they leave me alone .anyone whos annoyed about the dog just has a carrot up their bum

People are so stupid sometimes, the dogs aren;t the peoblem, the owners are, if the Owners breed the dogs to be fighters/gaurds/agressive, the dogs babies might have the agression bred into them, and the process repeat.

Akita's are wonderful! As a doberman owner, I know the effects of "scary looking dog" syndrome. Banning breeds won't stop bites, and it won't stop fighting. The only people that will suffer under a ban are the good owners that follow the law.

I don't see the point in banning breeds because they are on the dangerous dog list. Banning them just creates more problems.
