It's a lot harder to do the math now that the Grocery Game has been adjusted for modern prices. I wish I could still get an Eskimo Pie for 20 cents! Now, you have to buy between $20 & $21, and the same sort of thing still happens where the contestant is only a few cents away from $20 and has only the more expensive products left and will go over no matter what.

Probably, but wool coats, leather goods, meat, and foreign cars are all now legalised under host Drew Carey, a libertarian who has allowed the show to give away lavish prizes such as suite tickets to NBA, MLS, and NASCAR events.

HDTV also has forced the show to abandon some looks as they are too outdated for today's big televisions.
