In the last 3 months I have recieved 2 letters from a company that has been hired by ATT to get my disability. I have not contacted anyone for my Social Security disability. The phone company I retired from wants me off their insurance and on government disability. If you don't think we are going to lose our insurance, you are crazy. My insurance is better than Medicare so I'm not interested, but if they get a public option, the phone company will stop paying for my insurance for sure.

Bipartisanship is a term the dems came up with a long time ago. It means to go along with them, and if you don't, they accuse you of NOT being bipartisan. The repubs are scared of that accusation. The parties should be arguing all the time. Stand on principles and fight. Then let the people vote at election time.

Mason says it's stupid for politicians not to vote with their party or they stand for nothing. What happens when their constituency is in opposition to their party's position on a particular issue? In the last 3 months I have recieved 2 letters from a company that has been hired by ATT to get my disability. I have not contacted anyone for my Social Security disability. The phone company I retired from wants me off their insurance and on government disability. If you don't think we are going to lose our insurance, you are crazy. My insurance is better than Medicare so I'm not interested, but if they get a public option, the phone company will stop paying for my insurance for sure.

I'm not sure about all of your examples (sexuality references can sometimes unwieldy when used in an unrelated video and in an abstract way) but I think overall you make a great point about the American electoral system. It would take a massive change in electoral law and both state and federal level to change the status quo, and the electorate would have to abandon years and years of party loyalty. If only the Reps. were so sure of where they stood...

This health care is nothing more than a government power grab and people with a brain realize we can not afford it. It will have mission creep just like every other government program. The quality will go down and the price will go up. The government does not create wealth so it can not save money, it can only spend less. The argument by Obama that this bill will save money is inherently false.
