There is a saying "the way we treat our animals can tell a lot about a country" ...asians in general treat animals like they're tacky objects and have absolutely no regard for a living creature. I eat meat all the time - chicken, beef, turkey.etc...i was built as a human to crave meat and my ancestors ate it too so i cannot help but eat it....BUT i dont go and slam an animal's head to the ground (especially dogs who have a very complex personality and know the difference between good and bad)

They are killed quickly, and are not treated like pieces of shit, skinned alive, or tortured. The farmers actually care about them and most people that eat them actually RESPECT them.

Obviously there are still some exceptions such as battery farms but there are people actually working to change that.

@amnesty Every morning Cows breast are shoved into machines to be sucked for milk, Chickens scream as they are collected for slaughter. goats, cows, pigs are herded to small cages to await slaughter, the stun guns don't work at all times and some were skinned alive, hens are restricted in small cages and fed chemicals to make them lay eggs everyday resulting in muscle problems. But that's your business. Filipinos use knives and that's their business. Know your boundaries.

There's a legal loophole which dogs are allowed to be slaughtered but no laws specifying how to do so. I read a lot of this is "underground" and that a lot of people over there have consumed Dog meat. I wonder if they even know about the barbaric practices behind what they order on a menu?? I know a lot of things happen in Australia I wasn't aware of until recently so maybe education and spreading the word over there is a better way to end this?
