Darkfall is a decent FFA game, and the end-game content regarding siege and massive battles are great... But it's not a sandbox. It's not a themepark either. I suspect this game will end up like Shadowbane, and that's fine for a game of this type.

there is no classes in this game, if u wanna stealth, u just have to crouch, be careful ur enemy doesnt see you, and use the enviorment. there is no "stealth" skill like in WoW that makes u invisible.

Good sides of this game are death and loot systems, and the way skills are learned although its clone of Elder scroll (if u swing alot with mace eventualy u'll rise your mace skill...). played it for 10 min. i'm deleting it now. the game is ugly and gameplay is 4/10. if u ever played wow,aoc,war or similar then do not EVER play this game couse those games are gods compared to darkfall...

sorry dude but like i appericiate this isnt the game for everyone i mean graphics aint that good animations suck but the gameplay makes up for it and like i came to this game from WoW and it took me ages to adjust to this because like darkfall is "Hardcore" so to speak and wow is like "PrettyBoy" but in darkfall soem of the things that make it hardcore are just annoyin and take sometime to adjust to dude.

i just bought the game online and downloaded client (about 9GB). The game sucks BIG time, graph is from 1998,sound is in midi format,and there is no music and npc's do not have voice over...there is no tutorial,no story...i tried to find some quest givers,and was searching for 10 min before i got to one...i used help guide to learn all by my own. is this becouse i downloaded some beta shit or this is the actual (full) game? if its 42€ for that shit than PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!

yes i now i play age of conan, but what i mean is that a sandbox game cant have super graphics and this game is made for low end computers, mortal online is releasing in september and it has nice graphics (unreal 3 engien), sandbox, free for all pvp check it out if you want but it starts wifh core featurs only sow, and the graphics in darkfall is not that bad its only the effects like magic do to proformance and some animation.

What you have to realize right now though, is that the Darkfall creators need to work on more important aspects, such as gameplay and overall functionality. Once that's all done, hopefully designers will give some more options for characters.
