  • "department of corrections" should be changed to "department of punishment"

  • are most NH cops this nice?

  • geeze, what a great police officer, that is like 1 out of 10 that you come across. It actually is usually the more experienced cops that understand the constittion

  • is for the cam only

  • Dude, we need to get a sound man or woman to move to NH. Now that the picture quality is so much better (thank you) just a little bit better sound would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for putting these together. It's great to see what is happening on the eastern front.

  • Would love to! But I live in the PRK (People's Republic of Kalifornia), and I can't escape.

  • Great vid! Freedom is worth fighting for. Please add me. I only want liberty lovers a friends. Thanks.

  • where is part one?

  • Sheriff officers are usually the most professional and courteous.

It's because their boss is actually elected, unlike the police... perhaps that is a clue, why not have elections for police as well?

  • The position of Sheriff is one of the most powerful in existence, the shame of it is there is fewer than a handful of them who know what power they have, and even fewer who use it to the benefit of those who elected them.

  • "Professional" police is the problem. Since they work for the state, they share in the state's "limited liability".

As you say, a sheriff is directly responsible to the voters (no matter how tenuous that might be), but "professional" police work for the "city". Their political masters come and go, they stay. Bureaucrats.

Private police are liable for their actions as individuals. This is the single overriding reason for eliminating "professional" police entirely.

  • I probably should have said the officer acted nicely as opposed to professionally. I do not support government police, only private. Just to clear that up.

  • What a nice sounding violent man.

  • When police officers are courteous, I make it a point to write a thank you letter to their supervisor. We know how to use sticks, but carrots work too.

  • I actually did drop an email to the sheriff's department to thank them for acting professionally. I think good behavior should be rewarded =O)

  • Appears to be a very professional and amiable police officer (think Andy of Mayberry). Wish they all were like that. We'd have a lot less problems in this Country if they were.

  • Andy of Mayberry was an elected official, who (when needed) deputized individuals for specific actions. His job was to keep the peace.

"Law Enforcement" agents are bureaucrats, whose job performance depends upon making as much chaos and trouble as possible, punishing people for non-crimes. If "peace" were to break out, they would be unemployed, so they look for trouble where there is none.

  • the gentleman was very kind and courteous of our rights.

  • Bureaucrat: Anything I can do?

Ridley: Yeah, you can free Lauren.

Bureaucrat: I'm just the guy who keeps the train on it's tracks, I don't drive it, fuel it, load it with innocent people, oppose it's existence and anything it does. I must look like a real hero to these guys. Maybe if I act nice they will stop exposing the evil I take part in.

    Free Lauren!

    FREE EVERYONE!

  • Yeah, he was better, but I'm just trying to keep perspective.

  • It is very important to know that there are "Good Germans".

What a sad phrase. To keep up with the times, it needs to be changed now to "Good Americans".

Ok, I just depressed myself. yuck.

  • Damn... I'm both German as well as American... in any event, I agree.

  • I do appreciate the officer being nice in the video and think he should be commended for his attitude.

  • Hallelujah!! This man was PROFESSIONAL. He made them stay out of the road and acted professional, peacefully, courteously and CORRECTLY! I wish they could clone this guy about 100,000 times and place him all over America. In addition he should be promoted to a training officer so the new recruits know how to react to people. Thumbs up for the LEO and 5 stars to Dave Ripley. Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!

  • He's not the only one in the Strafford County Sheriff's Department who is professional like that. The High Sheriff, Wayne Estes, is also of the highest caliber and honors his oath of office. He obviously promotes professionalism, because I have seen similar professionalism from another captain and a sergeant from his office over the last few years. I've seen the sheriff defend a civilian's rights against the wishes of a high ranking county bureaucrat.

  • @Josiah531 .....ditto!

  • Lol, weird market focus on RR for an ascender. I want one :P

I sure hope they treat her well

  • I have an AssEnder Joe. I bought it in an infomercial. Didn't work too well. I still have my ass.

  • AssEnder sounds like bad fastfood or a new Hot sauce.

  • I know the couple that runs that business and they're real stand-up folks. Very pro-liberty and very professional.

  • Oh, I'm not saying its a bad product, it looks great. I'm sure the product will be used to scale evil buildings in DC.

  • For DC building climbing, it needs to be much quieter.

  • KUDOS TO JOE!

  • You know, I have encountered Peace officers here in Indiana, however this isn't NH.

My experience is police in different areas of the nation (everyone is an individual) act differently even to this day!

  • Yes, the officer is cool.

  • I'm old enough to remember peace officers in Texas. This guy acts like a peace officer in this video. I like peace officers. Law enforcement officers are the pigs.
