Come to hawaii. U can free dive lobster in just 10ft of water! Ive never dove deeper than 30 feet for anything here, its awesome, but we do have big ass eels though!
Try holding your breath and using just your hands to catch them. Thats how we do it in Hawaii, and we go night time for them. Anybody can use a tank with a noose, but wheres the challenge in that? Gimme a break!
@BKD1582 We don't all live in Hawaii.. Where I live its very fished out in shallow. If you want to be productive you have to hunt in 80 to 120 feet of water. I would love to see you freedive and get some lobsters in 100 feet of water by freediveing. Good luck with that one! And if you watch the video I do end up getting half the lobsters with my hand. Not much fun though when you've already been BIT BY AN EEL A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE PAST.

Bro, you need to get with the program.. I have been checked by the "Florida" Marine Patrol many times.. It is NOT illegal to use a noose/snair in Florida. It's only illegal if your using a handmade type that may crush the exoskeleton. Mine has a piece of plastic around the cable that prevents me from sinching it down too tight where it could potentially due harm and therefor is legal. I don't think every dive shop and outdoor store in Florida would be selling nooses if they were illegal..
less worried about the nooses !! but catching and exploiting sea products using aqualung does !! there are tramps for lobster catching. And if you want to do it with your bare hands, must be using snorkelig only to avoid over exploiting of sources !!
I wish we were allowed to use nooses in California. Looks like fun. Fish and Game will get grumpy if you even have a spear as you could be using it to assist getting lobster out of holes. Nice video.
