Btw, one more thing. The Z31 is one of the only vehicles I've ever come across which sounds amazing, even without an exhaust upgrade. You can just hear this thing's engine rumble as it drives off, and it's ALL motor you're hearing. The 300ZX isn't a car, it's a machine.

I currently have a 2006 Altima SE-R, and the Z31 is the vehicle that forever got me hooked on NISSAN! My Old Man bought the 300ZX in 1987, brand new, when I was two, and we've had it ever since. Growing up, riding in that machine, just gave me a whole lot of grinning, as well as a longing for the day I that could drive myself around in it lol. I remember smoking a Porsche in it once, on a curved road course, and oh the joy!

Hell yeah. I was only commenting on the body styling. The VG lump makes a great noise and has plenty of tuning potential. Not an RB diss though. That is a tried and tested formula for daft speed!

The SX's design was clearly influenced by the Z31. The only difference from stock is this car has the headlight covers and hood vents.

This is the ideal swap for a 200ZR because it already came with the RB, other than that the VG30ET has alot of potential. Save your money and build up the VG, it's the far better option.

well i have a stock 89 n/a and an 88 turbo, i've spent about 3K on each restoring them and well all i have left is basic engine modification, and all i've got on the 89 is magnaflow exhaust and cold air intake and i just got my prochoice performance module, and i want to replace the turbo on my 88, so what would be the ideal turbo for it if you happen to know???(SORRY FOR THE LONG COMMENT HEH)

did you know when nissan won the GTP tournament in 1986 they used the VG30ET with a few modications and no governors, it was making 1000hp with powerband from 4k to 9, if you replace the right parts....
