We spent three years together, and I only managed to free myself from that relationship after I caught him cheating on me and hearing him deny it and blame the whole thing on me, making me realize that I was neither happy nor really loved. After him, thankfully, I learned how to choose decent boyfriends, and now I'm finally happy :)

When you're in love with someone, it's hard to see things objectively and think rationally - to you, your loved one is God/Goddess on earth. And mah, I've seen some get emotional while drunk and some actually quite serious and put together. Not everyone has the same reaction to alcohol.
