what is up your ass? 1st of all go look at a damn picture of twiggy. her cheeks have bronzer on them. of course you're not going to see any on the black and white photos. and 2nd twiggy has multiple pictures with different amounts of eye makeup on. sometimes she has colors sometimes just the black. 3rd no one is going to "look" like twiggy. twiggy is a unique looking model. thats why she is so well known. and 4th. the slicked her hair back to imitate twiggy's short hair. calm your ass.

The only thing that really bugs me about this tutorial is that we have no idea what on earth you're using or what colours they are because you don't show them, so we have to kind of guess a shade because not everyone knows what MAC shades are off by heart. Yeah, that's enough for me to not actually follow this tutorial, even though the outcome is perfect, the instructions were so vague and that's what this should be about.

the foundation is just a procedure.. its a way to start with clean skin... kind of like preparing a wall to be painted... first you have to paint over primer to have a clean ready to paint wall...... im a make-up artist... i know EXACTLY what shes doing... so dont be so sensative people.. its JUST art!

Like this, like a lot of the make up tutorials.. but I hate how these people think we have the money to buy all the products they use? I mean I have a LOT of make up, but no way could I afford to get every single MAC make up brush or eyeshadow or whatever, it's far too expensive. If she didn't include the name I'm sure all the people who wanted the brush name and number would complain. Also, you don't need Mac for beautiful makeup. I don't own a single Mac product and I'm very confident with my makeup. :) and.. As long as you have a similar colour I'm sure you could achieve the same look, I know I did! :O

My friend asked me to give her "60's make-up" and after talking about it for a while, we figured out that she wanted something a lot like this. We had several problems, though: she has thick, straight across eyebrows (pretty much no arch at all), smaller, hooded lids and she's mixed (black and white), so she has darker skin. I could not figure out how to give her nude lips! Her foundation? Would it look ashy? Just in general, how would or could someone with her face do a "60's" look?? Thanks!!!

Im mixed like your friend and I don't find that my lips looks ashy when I cover them with foundation. or you could use clear lipgloss.

for the eyebrows, the two of you could have a little beauty date and get your eyebrows shaped a little.

And look up pictures of women of color in the 60s see what they did. Cat eyeliner looks good on everyone i think. ;)
