@RFTAEC100 Just search for "RC plane crash into airport control-tower (part 1)" and "RC plane crash into airport control-tower (part 2)" or these are the partial URLs /watch?v=vaV7BQSiIcE and /watch?v=okLZQtgNyfQ
Das nenn ich mal richtig schnell! im Gegensatz zu den ganzen Dummschwätzern mit "uhhh schnellster rc flieger der Welt uhh ich will klicks haben" -.- geiles vid, geiler flieger! ;) (englisch: great plane!)
would this plan like break in a half if you put on full throttle and pull that pin for hight (dont know how to say im ger and a noob) all the way back? ;D because its so fast or would the back break or something?
the motor sounds like an old man yelling "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
JAYSUS! Bugga me that is quick..I'd have that crashed before it took its that fast.... Bruce, you have to come back home.... 'that' accent is starting to rub off on ya......
The engine is a Nelson 40 FAI , with a muffled Nelson tuned pipe. It requires a higher pitch propeller to fly faster. Ground peak was 30400 rpm on the test run up, about 1400 or more than ideal.
The pipe when tested on a noise maker, at 1 meter from the pipe is 62 DbA, no pipe on the nose maker is 87 DbA, so the muffler creates a 25 DbA reduction. The most noise from the flight actually comes from the propeller, not the engine itself.
@NitroRCtrucks Dont think youd wanna threaten her with a good time Eh?. and to answer her question, unless i am wrong, a kiwi is a new zealand native/resident. in her case she uses it in a less than flattering way Eh?
your the biggest yobbo i've ever heard, just shut up and enjoy the vid. your truggie will do the same RPM as this pylon, the point is there two completly different things dickhead.
@youtwoba why don't you go to northern canada, soak yourself in barbecue sauce, and ask a polar bear who hasn't eaten in months because of the meting ice caps how he feels about that statement?
@RCllamadude isnt there a tree you can go hug some where? i suppose you do not drive a car, because if you do within 5 min running your car it puts out more emissions than that plane probably will in its life time
@RCllamadude fair enough. ok theres the production of your computer, its power usage, etc this engine passes all emissions regulations put into place. and pullote less that what you are doing now. . if it runs 24 hours per day
@RCllamadude agreed. ice caps melting has been part of a cycle since the beginning of time unfortunately. what were seeing now is the receding glaciers from the last ice age.
@hairlesshippy That was regular speed , check my channel i have some video of it also , it was rather hard to video , crap overcast weather and because it sooo fast
I met John and his engineer in Maryborough Qld early this year at the comps here. I believe they are coming over for Bundaberg internationals here in August. John flies JR, and those planes are scary fast! Believe 300km plus!
@AwesomeFPV Yeah no kiddin, only problem is that at 200MPH it will travel 3.33 miles per minute, meaning that when it runs out of fuel 3 minutes after take off it would be 10 miles away... Of course could always just corkscrew it up to about 6000 feet then do a nice glide back down when it's out of fuel... I FPV myself and the thought of trying to control this thing FPV puts knots in my gut lol... ;D
You must be very popular with the flying field neighbors. But the plane is great

This plane is fast . I have also seen electric brushless motors capable of over 30,000rpm with a small propeller usually around 4-4.7 inches.
starscreamer47 2 months ago
One question: why do you still prefer glow-power to electric? ;-D
Denus01 2 months ago 2
@Denus01 because. he . likes it. just because electric is faster and more durable doesnt mean its more fun, i am a pro-electric by the way.
