$3000 a month in salary is certainly a respectable income but it's more "blue-collar" than middle-class. You're not going to be able to save or invest after all the expenses of living and having a family. Middle Class people typically invest a significant portion of their income, buy bonds, buy 2nd or 3rd homes as income property, which is next to impossible to achieve on a 3000 a month income. Do you actually know any real middle class people or families?

Without reform, more Americans will lose their coverage, more businesses will close their doors, and rising costs will continue to explode our deficit. With this plan no more rejection, high deductibles or insuring only parts of your body in the hospital.

Perhaps they do not remember when the Clintons tried to take over healthcare in 1993 and the Republicans took over Congress in 1994. According to Quinnipiac University poll, by a 72-21 margin voters do not believe Obama will keep his promise to reform healthcare without adding to the deficit. By 57-37 margin, voters think healthcare reform should be scrapped if it will add to the deficit.

$3000 a month in salary is certainly a respectable income but it's more "blue-collar" than middle-class. You're not going to be able to save or invest after all the expenses of living and having a family. Middle Class people typically invest a significant portion of their income, buy bonds, buy 2nd or 3rd homes as income property, which is next to impossible to achieve on a 3000 a month income. Do you actually know any real middle class people or families?

Obviously, I'm responding to people who are young or never held a serious job before. F.Y.I: $3000 a month in income is paultry pittance when you take into consideration mortgages, property taxes, insurace, car loans, children, food, health care, monthly bills like gas, electricity, phone, cable...ect. 3 grand a month back in 1950s or 60s was a indeed a healthy income but not these days with an inflationary economy with high energy costs and sky high taxes and education thanks to the Democrats.

He certainly does. Reporter asked good questions. Where is the transparency????? Why is he rushing this massive thing through?? Some in congress have admitted they won't even be READING the bill/plan before just signing it. If he just keeps his word, the American people should have a pretty good understanding of exactly what all is in the bill..FULL DISCLOSURE so it can be honestly looked at and the average citizen knows exactly what is what. WHAT IS THE RUSH TO GET THIS THROUGH so quickly???

medicaid help only people older than 65, and some poor families.
58% have a private insurance, different for everyone.
with a public one, everyone will have one, and those who have the money for private wont have to change, prices will even go down.
ur country is spending 18% of ur GDP (11% in france, 8% in UK) it will grow to 34% in 2040.

Government is NOT the solution for healthcare. Progressives in the US tend to believe that the government should be in charge of just about everything. Statistics?? Over 70% of Americans are happy or at least satisfied with their health-care.. Fix the broken part but what is the hurry? Do it right-take the time to really address and FIX things. The US government has a terrible track record in the programs it DOES manage i.e. USPS, Veteran's Admin, and Social Security--all a total wreck.

This health care bill is 1000 pages, does anyone, including Obama, know what is really in it. He has announced that he will allow me to keep my health care plan. Well gee Barrack, thanks for giving me that privilege! I am honored that he thinks I am intelligent enough to make this sort of decision. That is this this guys problem, he thinks government needs to make all of our decisions for us because we are too stupid to to do it ourselves. He's an arrogant ego-maniac.

If Bill O'Reilly or Keith Olbermann (neither of whom are journalists) say that Obama's proposed health care is worse than Britain's and that there's gonna be "death panels" and everyone is gonna be on a chopping block, WELL THEN IT MUST BE TRUE!!!!
Nevermind that respected scientists like Stephen Hawkings or British NHS officials have all come out debunking the assertions of these talking heads...

If this new program is better, then all of congress and the government should be in it. But they are not, so how good can it be. Is clear since they are not switching is not better. what ever the congress and senate pass thats the same coverage they get period nothing more nothing less. If a drug company representative came to you tomorrow and said, "I'll make sure that you're a Senator by next fall," or "I'll make sure you get re-elected next fall," or "I'll make sure your new cabin in the Adirondacks gets a new deck," then would you vote against health care?
Unless you're a billionaire that already has a vacation cabin and the bankroll to fund your campaign (especially after the drug companies find someone to run against you), my guess is you'd say okay.

It is kind of amazing some "people" think health costs are like buying a car or any other commercial proposition (eg: all the insurance co-sponsored posts on Youtube, by varying "people"). You can plan to buy a car or a house: it's your own responsibility and your money allocation--but you can't plan a medical affliction. Not the same. I simply note one anti-health plan person on Ytube had her two fave videos as a) a revolver shooting into a tank, and b) a clip of Milton F'man on "Greed".True!!

Obama has already told several lies like proclaiming no new taxes on people making less than $250,000.00 per year & then he promptly signed a bill into law increasing the tobacco tax. A tax increase for approximately 20 million Americans whose median income is $38,000 per year. He promised no pork & then signed a budget that contained $8.5 billion in pure indisputable pork.

This is to all those concerned about this plan and not those who don't vote and like to leave filthy remarks.
If Congress doesn't pass health insurance reform in 2009, costs will continue to skyrocket for every American and every business. Without reform, more Americans will lose their coverage, more businesses will close their doors, and rising costs will continue to explode our deficit. With this plan no more rejection, high deductibles or insuring only parts of your body in the hospital.

First off, a team of doctors will be chosen by others that have the experience, judgment, and wisdom in the medical field to head up a board to oversee the heath care system, and the public will have choice to keep their current provider of heath insurance. That makes this plan better than any other country's.
