I think there's a difference between a belief and a religion. You can BELIEVE there's no god, but that doesn't make it a religion. It's not like atheists have an official establishment for all to follow.

I can't believe that, what with the Scilon's influence on YouTube, this hasn't been taken down. Also, it took me two years, but I finally saw what the message at 1:09. I feel proud.
I don't agree with Scientology, I think it's a really stupid sci-fi thing just so that some people can get lots of money, but Tom Cruise is a nice person, and a really really good actor. I know I'm going to get bashed for saying that, but he just is.
Religion is shit, and $cientology is just the bottom of the pile. That was insanely funny, but it was somewhat saddening to know that Hyde of That 70's Show is a $cifag (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!)... and good riddance to L Fraud Hubbard. LOAD UP YOUR DDoS's ANON!

lol the funny thing is this sounds suspiciously like every other religion. you could easily replace the lyric "scientology" with "christianity" and it would all still fit.
@BenRiley94 you should just get the supper edition. it has all the smaller books rolled into one big one. its called the bible. there's this one hero, he has the power to heal the blind and shit, its really cool.
And id respect it if you didnt all bash jesus as well, your opinions are your own. Were not all little self righteous jerks like him, so stop the hate :P vvvvv
Your an uneducated little scum bag. I belive in christ and god, and all i see right now is you giving all us christians a bad name with your. Your constant pushing of jesus and using gods judgement as a threat is low and a sin of itself. Everyone has a right to speak their faith, but keep it respectful, something you havent done. So shut your damn mouth.
I think I'll stay an athiest, because people can't turn water into wine, scientology is a scam, and budhism is just...yeah. And if any of you Christian fanatics think of replying to this and trying to convert me, forget it you nutjobs, im not interested.
@TonberryNeko belive wat u wana believe and so will we. all im gunna say is if im wrong and ur right no one suffers. if ur wrong and im right well...................have fun
LOL. You are aware of that atheism is also a relgion right? It's central tenant "there is no god" cannot be proven and is thus taken on faith, thus making it religion. And the only nutjob here is the one who plans to go thru life rebelious against God.
@jlwelch fff i care. I'm not rebelling against something that doesn't exist, that'd kind of be hypocritical. its nine in the morning i just woke up and cant think of anything more to add to this comment
@jlwelch I can't rebel against something that doesn't exist. Sorry. You take your opinion and I'll take mine, good day to you sir/madam. I'm eating steak.
It isn't an opinion, and it is something I fear you will learn after this short life is over if you don't get over your own self righteousness in time.
Bald is not a hair color. Atheism IS a religion. This is not even debatable. If you believe in something relating to God or life after death that cannot be proven then you are religious. Athiests believe there is no god(s) and that there is no life after death. Therefore, they are a religion. Their beliefs cannot be proven anymore than Christianity or Islam, yet they insist upon holding themselves up as the rational or scientific view. They too are a religion though.
@jlwelch "Their beliefs cannot be proven anymore than Christianity or Islam"
Er, you mean non-beliefs don't you? One cannot prove a lack of something, however the onus is on those with the extraordinary religious claims to prove them with extraordinary evidence - of which there is none.
"Athiests believe there is no god(s) and that there is no life after death. Therefore, they are a religion."
Athiests also believe there is no Xenu & no Flying Spaghetti Monster - lack of belief is not religious.
Lack of belief is a belief in and of itself. Saying there is God is no more fantastic than saying there is no god(s). A "non-belief" is a belief. Therefore, the point stands. Atheism is a religion.
The only people on the planet who can claim they are not a religion are the agnostics, whose beliefs boil down to "there may be God and there may not be, I don't know". Everyone else takes a stance one way or the other and that makes them a religion.
@jlwelch No...religion is based on faith wheras atheism is not. If evidence arose for the existence of your "God", 99% of us would accept his existence. Worship him? Maybe not, seeing as he did some pretty evil stuff in the Bible.
As of Christians, there is plenty of evidence against many of your beliefs yet you stick with them.
Atheism IS based on faith. Can you prove God does not exist? Do you believe he does not exist? That is faith. You claim you have "countered" me, but what "evidence" do you have against Christianity? You cannot just make a statement like that and not back it up. You're all talk and no logic.
@jlwelch No, we have no faith. We don't believe anything without evidence. The default for anything should be disbelief. Only once their is evidence should belief arise. We do not believe now there is no evidence, but if there was we would change our views. That is not faith- that is rational thinking.
Disbelief is a belief in and of itself, that is what you don't seem to understand. Atheists BELIEVE there is no god(s). At its core, that is the very definition of atheism. By default, people should say "I don't know", not "there definitely isn't" if no proof exists. Rational thinking does not mean "I believe it does not exist because I can't prove it does" it means "I simply don't know yet, insufficient information".
@jlwelch Generally the term "antitheism" is given for people who claim that god absolutely does not exist, whereas atheism is saying "the claim that a god exists is not valid or supported by evidence, and thus, I put it in the same category as santa or the tooth fairy".
According to Merriam-Webster online, the definition of atheism is,
"A disbelief in the existence of a deity"
"The doctrine that there is no deity"
As an atheist, you BELIEVE there is no God, which is not supported by any evidence. Hence, it is faith, and that faith makes it a religion, just like Christianity. That is all there is to it.
@jlwelch The problem in your reasoning is that you think disbelief is the same as belief. I disbelieve in the tooth fairy. I disbelieve in Santa Claus. I disbelieve in God.
I suppose we can argue semantics, but when I say those statements, what I am saying is that I do not have a belief.
Furthermore, even if it was based on faith, which it's not, that wouldn't make it a religion. The two terms are not interchangeable.
Also, I find it reprehensible that you would try to tell me what I think.
@jlwelch To put it simply, atheism is to a religion as not collecting stamps is to a hobby. If you want to claim that atheism is a religion, then you must also claim that not collecting stamps is a hobby.
I'd also like to point out the idiocy of claiming that disbelief is the same as belief, is the same as faith, is the same as religion.
@jlwelch I would assume that you would not believe me if I told you I owned a dynamite crapping invisible panda. But, by your logic, you would then belong to the religion of dynamite-crapping-invisible-panda-deniers.
What are you talking about? Dynamite is a highly unstable and explosive substance so any species that actually produced such a substance would not live long. Flatulence and body heat alone would probably set it off, so there is scientific reason to disbelief that.
There is nothing ridiculous about believing in a higher power. The Big Bang proposes that all the matter and energy in existence came from nowhere, I believe the Bang was God's work. That is not unreasonable belief
@jlwelch "The Big Bang proposes that all matter and energy in existence came from nowhere"
I'll continue this conversation once you crack open a science book and give yourself a rudimentary understanding of what the Big Bang actually proposes. Until then, further discussion is meaningless.
I'm quite well aware of the Big Bang theory, which proposes that the universe started as an ultra dense region of matter and energy that is continually expanding to this day (that's why we see stellar drift). Also, I don't like to say this, but I am actually quite well educated in science so you won't be able to dismiss me so easily.
I stand by my earlier statement because the Big Bang Theory does NOT explain where said matter and energy came from, only that is blew outward
@jlwelch That is a significantly better explanation of events. But just because the theory does not explain where the energy and matter (and really, matter is energy) came from, does by no stretch of the imagination mean it proposes it "came from nothing".
Although, you are a bit incorrect, sir. According to our current understanding of the universe, the conditions present at the big bang would have meant that time would cease to function as we think of it.
@jlwelch In other words, time does not extend infinitely in the negative direction. And, at the point of the big bang, time ceases to function as we are used to, which means that causality (which is a byproduct of time) ceases to exist. Questions like "where did the energy come from" or "what was before the big bang" are meaningless, because there was no "before" the big bang. Questions like "what caused the big bang" are equally meaningless as causality did not exist at that point.
@jlwelch So, in other words, the very premise of your assertion (that the big bang doesn't explain where the energy came from) is flawed, in that it is based on the flawed assumption that there was such a thing as "before" the big bang to begin with.
Time did not start at the same time as the Big Bang, such a thing is moronic. Time is a universal constant with no real beginning or end. There most certainly would have been a time before the big bang and the creation of our universe. The primary flaw in this theory is that it does not explain where the mass and/or energy came from. There was a time before the Big Bang when it did not exist, then a time when it all existed. Where from?
@jlwelch Except that's not the case. You can call it moronic all you want, but I hate to say this, I'll take Steven Hawking's word on physics related issues over yours. You may be shocked, but he's a pretty dang reliable source when it comes to physics. You aren't.
@jlwelch Even in our current universe, time is not a constant. Time is affected by space-time warping (or gravity, if you like to think of it like that) and one's velocity.
So basically, you've just asserted something that contradicts the current scientific view of the universe as fact, while calling the evidence "moronic". Good show, sir. Good show.
Time can be manipulated by space-time, but it DOES have a beginning. Moreover, space-time warping is not a common phenomenon so for all PRACTICAL purposes, time is a constant. Actually, I don't believe space-time warping has been observed, only theorized mathematically. What's moronic is the notion that there is a point in time before which time did not exist, which is what you proposed earlier.
@jlwelch I'd also like to point out that I did not say there was a point in time before time. I said that there wasn't a point in time before the beginning of "time". There is a huge difference between "was" and "wasn't". You should learn it.
Furthermore, space-time warping has been observed, in fact.
Beyond that, we aren't discussing "practical" purposes, we're discussing the origin of the universe, which is based on anything but ordinary conditions.
Truth be told, I'm not even sure how we got on this topic so I'm just going to summarize the main points here.
1) The Big Bang cannot account for where the mass and energy in the universe came from, so it does not discount the possibility of intelligent design at work.
2) If you believe something concerning God or the afterlife that cannot be proven, you have faith and are following a religion.
3) Atheism, by definition, states that there is no God = religion!!!
1) I already explained to you that that's false. The Big Bang doesn't need to explain where matter and energy came from, because the whole premise that it had to "come from" somewhere is predicated on the flawed assumption that there was a time before the big bang. Which violates our current understanding of the universe.
2) If you assert something as true, then you could argue that point, although I would personally argue that a religion requires more than that.
1) It is not false, to claim it is false defies the Law of Conservation of Mass and Energy. Everything has to come from somewhere. There can never be a point in time prior to which time did not exist, that does not even make sense. My word, anyone with common sense would understand that.
2) If you have faith in what you can't prove, it is a religion. That is all there is to it.
Aside from space time warping (which has not been observed and would have a negligible effect anyway) time is pretty much constant. I've seen your three quotes and there is no contradiction. Please look up the definition of the word "contradiction.
"Time is a universal constant with no real beginning or end." - jlwelch
"Time can be manipulated by space-time, but it DOES have a beginning." - jlwelch
"There can never be a point in time prior to which time did not exist, that does not even make sense." jlwelch
How the holy hell can you read those three statements and not see the contradiction? This is a serious question. Are you too stupid to understand what you yourself wrote?
I've sent you a private message because the character limit prevents me from thoroughly disproving your argument. You will find links to several sources. One of which discusses physicists from Oxford observing evidence of time before the big bang.
And when I said "but it DOES have a beginning" that was a typo, I meant to say "DOES NOT". That was my mistake.
For those of you interested in the message he sent it was nothing more than a rehash of his previous arguments, which I firmly slammed with my almighty fist of logic and reason.
Furthermore, he tried to send it off and the block me, apparently in the hopes of getting the last word in without having to hear any dissent, so I used a secondary account to message him.
I strongly urge anyone reading this conversation, regardless of your faith, not to be as stupid as this fellow is.
You didn't slam anything with logic, in fact I doubt if you even read it. I provided sources direct from scientific sources and provided the links. Also, the reason I blocked you is because you are proving to be quite offensive and irritating. I doubt if you are even reading these comments anymore, but rather lashing out.
@jlwelch I trust anyone reading our exchange should be able to decide for themselves who's in the right here. I'm not discussing things with you anymore, I have no interest in discussing things with people like you.
@Clawdragoons Damn, if you want to discuss, go to a forum! We're just watching some funny videos at Youtube... Ah, BTW, I posted this on 4chan. It was ridiculous, and I did it for the lulz.
I fail to see the contradiction. I concede that the possibility of space-time warping would be an exception to time being a constant, but it is so exotic and unobserved that for all PRACTICAL purposes one can think of time as being a constant. Besides that, I see no possible contradiction here. A contradiction is a statement that conflicts with a previous statement.
The only one who is infuriatingly dull is the one who doesn't even know what atheism is.
@jlwelch 3) Atheism, by definition, does not state that there is no god. It merely puts god in with all other unfalsifiable hypotheses, like the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or Invisible Pink Unicorns. I've explained over and over again, atheism does not require faith, as it is not espousing a positive claim as truth, and is not a religion.
You might be able to argue that anti-theism is a religion, since that does espouse the positive claim that there is no god.
According to Webster, the be all end all of definitions for the English language, that is EXACTLY what atheism means. Atheists are those who believe there is no god(s). Not to be confused with the agnostics, who simply believe "I don't know". Don't try to separate atheism from its definition, it is precisely what it is.
@jlwelch Honestly, I am done discussing things with you. I've already explained why everything you've said so far is retarded, but instead of changing what you're saying, you just shove your head deeper up your rear end and keep insisting you're right.
It's not even your statements about atheism that annoy me. It's the fact that you are so scientifically illiterate that you can't even form a cohesive argument, yet refuse to recognize your own contradictions.
@jlwelch However, even in the case, as I said earlier, I would say that there is more to religion than having a belief about something supernatural. But, I would be much more willing to debate with you about anti-theism being a religion than atheism. Mostly because you don't seem to understand the difference between anti-theism and atheism, even though I've explained it several times now.
There is nothing more to a religion than believing something about God or gods and/or the afterlife that cannot be proven. Faith is what makes a religion, and atheists have faith that there are no god(s). You try to separate anti-theism from atheism, but if you actually look up the definition of atheism (which I copied and pasted from Webster's already) you would know that IS what it is. Hell, that's probably where the word "atheism" comes from!!!
@jlwelch Finally, space-time warping is actually very common. Every object with mass warps space-time. It is the more accurate description of the phenomena often known as "gravity". Are you claiming that gravity is rare? That for all practical purposes, we can ignore gravity?
You really are a scientific illiterate. And you contradict yourself at the drop of the hat, apparently, as seen by my previous post juxtaposing your contradictory quotes.
Again, you are making claims you cannot back up. You claim it is a common occurance. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. But it hasn't been OBSERVED. Mathematically it would certainly seem possible, but if you had any experience with science as I do you would know that computational models don't always agree with what we see experimentally.
Also, name one contradiction I have made thus far. I will actually challenge you there as you like to say things without back up.
@jlwelch I just quoted the contradictions you made. Look back at my previous quotes. You should see that I already showed you contradictions that you made. Would you like me to post them again? Fine, I shall do so. But I ask that you actually read the posts I make to you before dismissing them like you are apparently doing.
@jlwelch I just told you, it has been observed. Youtube doesn't like links, so I really can't give you a URL, but feel free to Google something along the lines of "time dilation observation", and you should get a multitude of sources attesting to the observation of such a phenomena.
As for Stephen Hawking, again, Youtube doesn't like links. I can link you to a video of him...
watch?v=vPvQY8L481o
Beyond that, feel free to search for "stephen hawking the beginning of time".
YouTube videos are currently down so I'll have to watch that video tomorrow, but I ran a google search on and came to a wikipedia page where I found this:
"Upon occasion, Hawking has stated that time actually began with the Big Bang, and that questions about what happened before the Big Bang are meaningless.[41][42][43] This less-nuanced, but commonly repeated formulation has received criticisms from philosophers such as Aristotelian philosopher Mortimer J. Adler."
And the fact that it is being challenged by the scientific community is good reason is interesting in itself. I strongly doubt it is true because I have common sense and if it were proven there would be a consensus within the scientific community about it.
@jlwelch I don't say there definitely isn't...I say I am very sure there isn't. On that note, shouldn't we all be agnostic towards leprachauns and fairies? The default for something is always disbelief. Of course there is a small amount of agnosticism due to lack of solid proof, but just like you don't consider the existence of fairies a possibility I don't consider the existence of God a real possibility.
There is no proof leprechauns exist. By your reasoning, we should all be agnostic towards them. NO! The default is disbelief. Disbelief where you admit to a small amount of uncertainty, but still disbelief. After all, is there more evidence for God than for the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
I was browsing on Albino Blacksheep, and found another Nuclear Bubble Wrap song... I recognised the voices immediatly. If they were worried about geting sued, they should have used a voice changer or something...
My PERSONAL opinion is that the whole religious mumbo jumbo is stupid. It just doesn't make sense to me. Religion is only a fabrication meant to justify the existence of the puny humans like you... I mean like us! I AM NOT AN ALIEN!
Oh, I forgot to comment on the video. I fucking love this song :D

LOL. You are aware of that atheism is also a relgion right? It's central tenant "there is no god" cannot be proven and is thus taken on faith, thus making it religion. And the only nutjob here is the one who plans to go thru life rebelious against God.

@jlwelch Calling atheism a religion is like calling bald a hair colour
NerdyIncorporated 10 months ago 2
@NerdyIncorporated
They too are a religion though.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch "Their beliefs cannot be proven anymore than Christianity or Islam"
Er, you mean non-beliefs don't you? One cannot prove a lack of something, however the onus is on those with the extraordinary religious claims to prove them with extraordinary evidence - of which there is none.
"Athiests believe there is no god(s) and that there is no life after death. Therefore, they are a religion."
Athiests also believe there is no Xenu & no Flying Spaghetti Monster - lack of belief is not religious.
sl9sl9 10 months ago
@sl9sl9
Everyone else takes a stance one way or the other and that makes them a religion.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch And not collecting stamps is a hobby.
NerdyIncorporated 10 months ago
@NerdyIncorporated
There is a big difference between a religion and a hobby, your point is moot.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch No...religion is based on faith wheras atheism is not. If evidence arose for the existence of your "God", 99% of us would accept his existence. Worship him? Maybe not, seeing as he did some pretty evil stuff in the Bible.
As of Christians, there is plenty of evidence against many of your beliefs yet you stick with them.
I have finally been bothered to counter you.
NerdyIncorporated 10 months ago
@NerdyIncorporated
Atheism IS based on faith. Can you prove God does not exist? Do you believe he does not exist? That is faith. You claim you have "countered" me, but what "evidence" do you have against Christianity? You cannot just make a statement like that and not back it up. You're all talk and no logic.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch No, we have no faith. We don't believe anything without evidence. The default for anything should be disbelief. Only once their is evidence should belief arise. We do not believe now there is no evidence, but if there was we would change our views. That is not faith- that is rational thinking.
NerdyIncorporated 10 months ago
@NerdyIncorporated
Disbelief is a belief in and of itself, that is what you don't seem to understand. Atheists BELIEVE there is no god(s). At its core, that is the very definition of atheism. By default, people should say "I don't know", not "there definitely isn't" if no proof exists. Rational thinking does not mean "I believe it does not exist because I can't prove it does" it means "I simply don't know yet, insufficient information".
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch Generally the term "antitheism" is given for people who claim that god absolutely does not exist, whereas atheism is saying "the claim that a god exists is not valid or supported by evidence, and thus, I put it in the same category as santa or the tooth fairy".
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
That is all there is to it.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch The problem in your reasoning is that you think disbelief is the same as belief. I disbelieve in the tooth fairy. I disbelieve in Santa Claus. I disbelieve in God.
I suppose we can argue semantics, but when I say those statements, what I am saying is that I do not have a belief.
Furthermore, even if it was based on faith, which it's not, that wouldn't make it a religion. The two terms are not interchangeable.
Also, I find it reprehensible that you would try to tell me what I think.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@jlwelch To put it simply, atheism is to a religion as not collecting stamps is to a hobby. If you want to claim that atheism is a religion, then you must also claim that not collecting stamps is a hobby.
I'd also like to point out the idiocy of claiming that disbelief is the same as belief, is the same as faith, is the same as religion.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@jlwelch I would assume that you would not believe me if I told you I owned a dynamite crapping invisible panda. But, by your logic, you would then belong to the religion of dynamite-crapping-invisible-panda-deniers.
Which is just stupid.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
That is not unreasonable belief
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch "The Big Bang proposes that all matter and energy in existence came from nowhere"
I'll continue this conversation once you crack open a science book and give yourself a rudimentary understanding of what the Big Bang actually proposes. Until then, further discussion is meaningless.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
I stand by my earlier statement because the Big Bang Theory does NOT explain where said matter and energy came from, only that is blew outward
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch That is a significantly better explanation of events. But just because the theory does not explain where the energy and matter (and really, matter is energy) came from, does by no stretch of the imagination mean it proposes it "came from nothing".
Although, you are a bit incorrect, sir. According to our current understanding of the universe, the conditions present at the big bang would have meant that time would cease to function as we think of it.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@jlwelch In other words, time does not extend infinitely in the negative direction. And, at the point of the big bang, time ceases to function as we are used to, which means that causality (which is a byproduct of time) ceases to exist. Questions like "where did the energy come from" or "what was before the big bang" are meaningless, because there was no "before" the big bang. Questions like "what caused the big bang" are equally meaningless as causality did not exist at that point.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@jlwelch So, in other words, the very premise of your assertion (that the big bang doesn't explain where the energy came from) is flawed, in that it is based on the flawed assumption that there was such a thing as "before" the big bang to begin with.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
Where from?
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch Except that's not the case. You can call it moronic all you want, but I hate to say this, I'll take Steven Hawking's word on physics related issues over yours. You may be shocked, but he's a pretty dang reliable source when it comes to physics. You aren't.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
Really? Cite your source. From what physics paper did Steven Hawkings declare time had a beginning and an end? Back up that statement.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch Even in our current universe, time is not a constant. Time is affected by space-time warping (or gravity, if you like to think of it like that) and one's velocity.
So basically, you've just asserted something that contradicts the current scientific view of the universe as fact, while calling the evidence "moronic". Good show, sir. Good show.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
Time can be manipulated by space-time, but it DOES have a beginning. Moreover, space-time warping is not a common phenomenon so for all PRACTICAL purposes, time is a constant. Actually, I don't believe space-time warping has been observed, only theorized mathematically. What's moronic is the notion that there is a point in time before which time did not exist, which is what you proposed earlier.
jlwelch 10 months ago

@jlwelch *Ahem*, let me quote.
Contradiction 1:
"Time is a universal constant with no real beginning or end." - jlwelch
"Time can be manipulated by space-time, but it DOES have a beginning." - jlwelch
Contradiction 2:
"What's moronic is the notion that there is a point in time before which time did not exist, which is what you proposed earlier." - jlwelch
"There most certainly would have been a time before the big bang and the creation of our universe." - jlwelch
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@jlwelch I'd also like to point out that I did not say there was a point in time before time. I said that there wasn't a point in time before the beginning of "time". There is a huge difference between "was" and "wasn't". You should learn it.
Furthermore, space-time warping has been observed, in fact.
Beyond that, we aren't discussing "practical" purposes, we're discussing the origin of the universe, which is based on anything but ordinary conditions.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
3) Atheism, by definition, states that there is no God = religion!!!
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
That is all there is to it.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch
Are you a retard or are you just acting like one.
Stop contradicting yourself. You've done so over and over again. Here, let me quote your now TRIPLE contradiction.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
Aside from space time warping (which has not been observed and would have a negligible effect anyway) time is pretty much constant. I've seen your three quotes and there is no contradiction. Please look up the definition of the word "contradiction.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
That was my mistake.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
You didn't slam anything with logic, in fact I doubt if you even read it. I provided sources direct from scientific sources and provided the links. Also, the reason I blocked you is because you are proving to be quite offensive and irritating. I doubt if you are even reading these comments anymore, but rather lashing out.

I'm going to give you those three quotes one last time. But seriously, I have met few people as infuriatingly dull as you.
I am done with this conversation. You are simply willfully ignorant.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
The only one who is infuriatingly dull is the one who doesn't even know what atheism is.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch 3) Atheism, by definition, does not state that there is no god. It merely puts god in with all other unfalsifiable hypotheses, like the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or Invisible Pink Unicorns. I've explained over and over again, atheism does not require faith, as it is not espousing a positive claim as truth, and is not a religion.
You might be able to argue that anti-theism is a religion, since that does espouse the positive claim that there is no god.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
According to Webster, the be all end all of definitions for the English language, that is EXACTLY what atheism means. Atheists are those who believe there is no god(s). Not to be confused with the agnostics, who simply believe "I don't know". Don't try to separate atheism from its definition, it is precisely what it is.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch Honestly, I am done discussing things with you. I've already explained why everything you've said so far is retarded, but instead of changing what you're saying, you just shove your head deeper up your rear end and keep insisting you're right.
It's not even your statements about atheism that annoy me. It's the fact that you are so scientifically illiterate that you can't even form a cohesive argument, yet refuse to recognize your own contradictions.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@jlwelch However, even in the case, as I said earlier, I would say that there is more to religion than having a belief about something supernatural. But, I would be much more willing to debate with you about anti-theism being a religion than atheism. Mostly because you don't seem to understand the difference between anti-theism and atheism, even though I've explained it several times now.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
Hell, that's probably where the word "atheism" comes from!!!
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch Finally, space-time warping is actually very common. Every object with mass warps space-time. It is the more accurate description of the phenomena often known as "gravity". Are you claiming that gravity is rare? That for all practical purposes, we can ignore gravity?
You really are a scientific illiterate. And you contradict yourself at the drop of the hat, apparently, as seen by my previous post juxtaposing your contradictory quotes.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
I will actually challenge you there as you like to say things without back up.
jlwelch 10 months ago
@jlwelch I just quoted the contradictions you made. Look back at my previous quotes. You should see that I already showed you contradictions that you made. Would you like me to post them again? Fine, I shall do so. But I ask that you actually read the posts I make to you before dismissing them like you are apparently doing.
Clawdragoons 10 months ago

@jlwelch I just told you, it has been observed. Youtube doesn't like links, so I really can't give you a URL, but feel free to Google something along the lines of "time dilation observation", and you should get a multitude of sources attesting to the observation of such a phenomena.
As for Stephen Hawking, again, Youtube doesn't like links. I can link you to a video of him...
watch?v=vPvQY8L481o
Beyond that, feel free to search for "stephen hawking the beginning of time".
Clawdragoons 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons
Adler."
jlwelch 10 months ago
@Clawdragoons

NerdyIncorporated 10 months ago
@jlwelch Ughhh
There is no proof leprechauns exist. By your reasoning, we should all be agnostic towards them. NO! The default is disbelief. Disbelief where you admit to a small amount of uncertainty, but still disbelief. After all, is there more evidence for God than for the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
