I won't pay to see this movie because I'm pretty sure Fox wants to make sequels with the same crappy cast and crappy director (he did Final Destination 1 & 3)
I just hope this movie becomes a huge sucess because if it does, then the producers might get sufficiently inspired to create a new Dragon Ball series. A nice tittle for this highly expected and future series could Dragon ball: "The Z Warriors' Chronicles".

In matrix revolution when smith and Neo were flying around and fighting is basically what their gonna do for this movie, which should kick ass, as long as everyone pulls of their roles, I just hope to god that that Chatwin kid can pull off this role..

I think its smart for them to start off with the dragonball series because they have to explain Goku's roots and introduce all the characters. I hope they do a descent job whith this movie and do the anime series justice. I really want them to make the follow up DBZ movie with vegeta.
Anything after cell saga is just to much. Buu's alright, but forget it when it come to GT. Dragon Ball was my favorite though, no over powered anything... and Master Roshi was hella strong there!
Goku will NOT wear a wig-will have short mullet-ish/mohawkish spiked up hair (terrible idea, Fox)
Luis Arrieta has a small role as Teto, Goku's friend. He also confirmed possiblity of a trilogy. Not giving Fox your money WILL decrease the chances of a sequel, it's simple economics.
Fox will air a movie preview during the Super Bowl, presumably Dragon Ball.
