@Moh1Z Addiction to drugs and booze isn't being perpetually "high." It is being perpetually SICK. You get high on drugs and booze for a short period of time until you are addicted. Then you get SICK on drugs and booze until you die, kill someone and get thrown in prison, or miraculously get clean and sober through intensive treatment. If you do go "straight," addiction, which is progressive, will kill you dead if you relapse.

@Moh1Z It's a paradoxical issue, because once you "know" about them, they have almost killed you, your mind, your body, you willpower. Another thing to remember is that an addict or alcoholic doesn't get high anymore after addiction sets in. They simple ingest, imbibe to continue feeling sick but not as sick as they would feel otherwise...until they feel sicker a few minutes later.  It's hell; stay away-run away.

I am not anti-drugs necessarily (and I don't drink or do drugs). I am anti-lumping all drugs together. So even your choice of words not being "pro drugs" I think is not descriptive enough. Some drugs, pot for instance, is supported by a mountain of evidence and history to be a great drug. My contention was strictly cocaine here. Thanks.

Motley Crue is my all-time favorite band. GNR are in the top five. But I think it's pretty hard to argue that Motley Crue weren't the band of the 1980's. Starting with the first album, everything (even their look) they did was copied by every other band around. 1991 was Motley's peak I believe. Vince sounds the best in that era, the band's music was tight as hell too. But everything they've done since has been amazing as well, even if it didn't sale like the'80's stuff. Motley Crue rules.
