yeah you totally have this wrong the candle is not supposed to sit vertically in the ear...it is used as a suction on horizontally. so that the earwax that is being sucked out isnt going back into the clients ear and burning the ear drum...

You have too much time on your hands. Also, there is residue (the white stuff) that is left over from the burning of the candle, the dark coloured (orange or brown stuff), is the wax that's pulled out of your ear. In your experiment there isn't any of the dark stuff because you just burnt the candle in a jar. Regardless, wish you luck with your lawsuit, this technique has been used for thousands of years. In any case go see an ENT so he can cut your ears apart, you may prefer that approach.

Thanks for the info. I actually thought of getting some. There is another video on here of a dad making his daughter do this, and he even says sure has had multiple ear surgeries for inner ear problems. At one point the girl says, " It's starting to hurt now!" No wonder, there was a stream of molten wax flowing into her ear. BTW , sweet ass pinky-ring, player.

@JuacqueSlay First. Smoke buildup goes UP. It DISSAPATES. That is WAX in the bottom of the jar. If you want to see smoke form in the bottom of a glass please search "Cigarette Trick" Here on youtube, there you will see a glass cooled down in a freezer to like 20 or 30 degrees, and a man who blows his hand rolled cigarette into the cooled glass, the cooled glass causes the hot smoke to collect temporarily. Cool effect. However that is the only time you can get smoke to "residue"

First of all....the candles should NOT be made of paper....What is everyone thinking? Unbleached muslin does not allow the wax to drip into the ear which makes them safer. You should go after the company as well for using wax coated paper....I am a trained professional RPN that does this treatment but it is the facial massage that does the trick. The candle should also be put into the ear on an angle so that the wax from the candle travels along the inside of the candle...not DRIPS.....

I've actually heard people claim that real doctors are against ear candling because it's a natural cure and they just want to push their drugs. Know how real doctors deal with impacted ear wax? First, you soften it over a few days with mineral oil, then you gently rinse it out with warm water. However, how much personal experience do you have with ear candles? I have hours of personal experience with them, so I am speaking from experience and not just theories and from what I have seen in a video.

@stonetop Becuase that is a false rumor spread by other ear candling companies such as Whitegret. My mothers business, Harmony Cone Ear Candles, has had many tests done in Europe to see if the ear candle could pull any wax or anything else out of the ear, all tests came back negative.

And what do ear candles do? Basic anatomy would tell you it is impossible to suck anything out of the ear or clear your sinuses this way.

Your ears are connected to your nasal passages and throat. thus any negative pressure would be taken away by opening your mouth or breathing.
