Obviously a weight transfer/suspension issue on the car. But why is he on the throttle while straddling the centerline? The whole thing kind of unfolds in slo-mo, and....well, for lack of a better word, it's kind of FUNNY!

What were the European Pro Mods turning back then?

I have an old video from about '90 called 'Pro Thunder,' featuring some IHRA Pro Modified racing from Michigan. Bill Kuhlman, Robbie Vandergriff, and Jim Oddy were big names back then, and top speeds were approxamately 200 mph.

Just curious. Nice video, by the way. The Pro Modifieds are the greatest class in drag racing, as far as I'm concerned.
