  • This video is a favorite on Valletta

  • could prepare eggs on it

  • Amazing piece of engineering.

  • its an arrows f1 car not a mclaren

  • im pretty sure they do it to adjust the idle of the engine to get it running right.

  • es spyker no mclaren

  • awesome revs but not good for the engine

  • actually thats an engine test and warmup to get it at the optimum temperature for running

  • the engine is built for taking high revs........ extremely high revs if u ask me....

  • STUPENDO!!!!

  • Yeah mate, this is an Arrows.

  • What is the purpose of this test? Can´t be healthy for the engine...

  • the purpose was probably to showcase the car for a sponsor meeting or team event. Since engines are measured in hours of operation and not kms/miles being that this is not under real load (no wheels, maybe even in neutrel) engine damage would be minimal. Ive worked with inconnel before and seeing those exhaust pipes light up like that is scary, considering the properties of the material/

  • Yeah, sponsor event would be plausible.

Culd you elaborate on Inconnel? What about it`s properties makes it scary?

  • research inconnel. Its the material used to make the exhaust components of these cars, its very light and very very heat resistant, has a very low expansion rate. Its like a mix between metal and ceramic. Ive welded the stuff and to have it glow like that, the shear heat energy leaving those cylinders is amazing. Its a wonderful material

  • Interesting, thanks for replying.

  • it's not a mclaren, it is another car

  • Yep its an arrows

  • yes^^ i don't remember the name!!

  • HOLY FUCK ..... that hot

  • Are they trying to break it?

  • very hot

  • This is a Renault V10 F1 Engine. not mclaren.

  • How do you know that?

  • because one of the team members posted this video..its renault...and its clearly renault colors. not mclaren.

  • Haha. Not McLaren, Not Renault. This is Arrows.;o)

  • Them exhausts are damn hot

  • HORSE POWAH:?

    nree.

  • looked like it was going to r.p.m but at the end vooooooom vooooooooooom crazy

  • Arrows engine test ;)

  • woooooot i love that sound

  • lol insane i love how everyone is covering there ears apart from 1 def barstard

  • That was sweet,,,.

  • id love to custom fab that shit to fit in my roadrunner haha that would be funny as hell, youd need to widen the frame and body out and report everything

  • I wanna fit that in my Enzo.

  • u dont have a fuckin enzo get a life

  • u actually thought about what i said, lol, i think you're the one who should get a life.

  • there are alot of little kids on here saying they have everything so dont worry bout it

  • who cares if it's a mclaren or a darn arrows.it's a great vid.

  • No es Mc Laren!

  • This is not a Mc Laren car or engine. The car is an Arrows and the engine an Asiatech.

  • I would love to be there, just to hear that.

  • Holy HELL!

  • Notice how everyone accept one has their fingers plugging their ears?

  • Just a small correction if you don't mind. This video is actually from an Arrows engine not a McLaren. IIRC, it's from the 2002 car wich is equiped with a Cosworth CR3 75 degree V10 engine, 830bhp @ 18,000rpm ;)

    Anyway, it's a great video.

  • You can read The engine partner on T shirt of people. Asiatech has give engine to Arrows in 2002 and to Minardi in 2003. It was not a Cosworth engine. Asiatech have baugth Peugeot activity at the and of the year 2001 .

  • he prolly already deaf from workin on those gods of machines
