Performance E36ers can start with a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. It can add up to 11HP for only about $150 and installs in 30-45 minutes - really a must for every E36 owner. It also makes the car HOWL at high end but sounds normal at everyday driving. See my videos!
u got injectors, cams, ems, headers and full exhaust system, pulleys, euro hfm, euro intake, big throttle body i suppose what i dont understand it the 3100lbs with the drive how did u reduced the weight ??? i love ur car !
The S70 engine was V12 that BMW stuck in there 850CSi and there M8 prototype. (S70B56 and S70/1) respectively. So yes the S70 did exist. It was a bored out version of the M70 with experimental multi-valve cylinder heads. However, you are correct the M3 never had an S70, nor could you ever fit one in the stock engine bay. drebert2627 is a complete fucking idiot. ///M Power.
@drebert2627 lmfao m50? first off the m50 is the 2.5L 325 motor. 2nd, the "s70" is a V12 which NEVER appeared in an E36... and 3rd, are you a professional listener? It's the original S52 with heavy mods. End of story.
Gotta love a two generations old N/A I6 BMW beating a current generation V8 Vette.

Nice car, but a 4 door m3? HA ha... Nice engine swap. I can hear it. You swapped an M50 motor for the "m3" S70...
drebert2627 3 years ago
Allright first of all M3 never had a S70 engine. I don't think such a thing even exists. 2, that's how a build S50 sounds.
