@brennuvargr If I remember right I used the Equalizer of Audacity and set the levels higher, recorded the song with it and got this razorsharp sound out , cos the audio quality lacks here on YT a little. The uploaded versions til then sounded so muffled to me (at least here) , and this song deserves better .

@talderdepression Thanks very much, man. Yeah, the other version on YouTube does indeed sound very muffled! YouTube quality is horrible anyway. Glad you like our music though. Hopefully we will release something again at some point in the future!

@brutalfibroma I would but cant, I didnt use Audacity on the other songs on Nihilistic Purity, just on "Deconstruction" to value the sound quality while it normally lacks with the upload.

@brutalfibroma The original release of Nihilistic Purity was not with the same clarity. The sound is much better on the later release. You have probably listened from the original. Don't misunderstand, I enjoy raw black metal, but the sound quality of the original release impaired the delivery. Instead of sounding raw it sounded a little weak. Ah well! The final release was exceptionally strong.

I think it is a guitar effect, Lyrinx use Guitar/Bass/Drums/Vocals. But how much manipulation happened in the studio is out of my knowledge.

@xdyingfetusx69 No synth in there, man. Guitars were recorded using a line 6 amp with some very strange distortion effects, though can't remember whether they were manipulated much in the studio (I wasn't into music technology as much back then as I am now).
