I know that the 12V batteries have an average 40mAh's, so how long does it usually last? Because that's quite a bit less than what you'd be getting with the button cells on Inovas.
Sorry, I don't check these messages frequently. They last a long time, not sure the exact amount of time, but I used mine for a month and a half straight before they started to dim.
you can get led strobe sticks on ebay for about 2$ each. They go out when you hit them so i took a piece of tape an wrapped all 3 batteries up and they work pretty good
If you send me your old chemical glowsticks I can turn them into LED sticks for $20.00 total plus whatever shipping is to your location. If you don't have glowsticks to send me then it will be $25 plus shipping.
No they are very durable. Because I solder all the connections before putting the LED's in, there is a solid connection throughout. I've smacked them together many times and they have yet to fail on me.
It's all good. Notice how long ago this video was posted, I don't even make these things anymore. I was just doing it for kicks on the side.

@unetunfontdeux if it has only 40mAh it would last cca 2 hours since an LED runs on 20mA current.

it's just a 3/8" mounted pushbutton switch on/off type that you can find at radioshack.
