@farmrdave I have read the Constitution, several times in fact (the IPhone Constitution App is very handy) and I don't think you or most people who try to use it to justify a smaller government really understand it. The Government is simply a tool of the people that provides the services the people request of it; Order (legal and economic), Defense and the Protection/Execution of our rights provided within it. It doesn't say anything about what services it can't provide or caps on bureaucracy.

Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac was buying up billions of dollars of those bad loans, while cooking the books. President Bush called for oversight of Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac his first term as President, the Democrats blocked it !

@farmrdave I have read the Constitution, several times in fact (the IPhone Constitution App is very handy) and I don't think you or most people who try to use it to justify a smaller government really understand it. The Government is simply a tool of the people that provides the services the people request of it; Order (legal and economic), Defense and the Protection/Execution of our rights provided within it. It doesn't say anything about what services it can't provide or caps on bureaucracy.

Her campaign aims towards women in America with "Family Values" (Daughter's teen pregnancy, Playgirl center fold son in law, ETC.). Bravo! It will not be hard reaching out to no brain under educated house wives or soon to be "grizzlies" across suburban America who wish they could see Russia from their house. Looks like our new foriegn policy with be devoted to importing pretty clothes from europe and continuing Jesus's holy war in the middle east.

@sparkyj99 I worked Labor day, but the rain wasn't that bad here. Labor day was just another day to me. None of that stuff about President Clinton was true, no one has ever proved that about him. But Clinton did take advantage of of a lady that was supposed to be a friend when she was in need of a job when he was President and he did fool around with lots of women. There never was a "vast surplus", you can't have a surplus of money in the government when the government was still in debt!

As for Newt Gangrich, he did cheat on his wife when he was Speaker of the House, but he has since changed his ways by becoming a Christian and has remarried to a good woman. @sparkyj99 The only thing they could find that Newt Gangrich had done wrong was used a wrong form when he did his taxes, but he had paid what he owed the IRS. The Democrats used that small mistake he made on his taxes to make him resign as Speaker of the House. They made a mountain out of a mole hill on purpose to make him look like a crook. As for Obama, his dad was a communist and it does seem like Obama is a communist also, or at least a socialist.

@warcraft1920 As for who caused the mess we are in now, it was NOT caused by deregulation of the banks, it was caused by things like the Community Reinvestment Act giving housing loans to people that could not afford them. Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac was buying up billions of dollars of those bad loans, while cooking the books. President Bush called for oversight of Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac his first term as President, the Democrats blocked it !

Shrub never called for greater oversight or regulation of any government agency.The Community Reinvestment Act didn't force bankers to make loans to people who they knew couldn't pay ti back.All it did was require that some portion of the banks money actually be loaned out to the community where the bank was located.
If we hadn't listened to those free market, anti government and deregulated banks none of this would have happened.

The small businesses that have like 100 to 400 employees make lots more than 250,000 a year. Right now small businesses are suffering as it is with the bad economy and if their taxes are raised there will be lots more unemployment and small businesses closing their doors. (continued)
