Namaste! Thanks for asking! Hare Krishna is the modern nick name of Gaudiya Vaishnavaism. Although we accept Buddha as the eleventh incarnation of God, we do not follow Buddhist philosophy. Vaishnavaism comes from the ancient Veda, written 5,000 years ago by Vyasdev. From that point there has been an  unbroken line of teacher and student down to this present day. 500 + years ago, our Lord came as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu to give mercy to the fallen in the form of Divine love. Feel free 2 ask :-)

I've heard this mantra before in Spanish. I see nothing wrong with using 'Goddess' for Krishna at times. In the Gita, the Lord says: "I AM Father, Mother and Guru". Shree Maa also sings beautiful Goddess chants in English. They're otherworldly. Thank you for this. Jai Radharani-ki, Form of Love and Bliss!

Yes, to Hindus, cows are sacred because they are mothers and they provide milk. But even more than that, mother earth, personified, takes the form of a cow often. In the body of the cow all demigods are present. Even her cow-dung is the seat of the Goddess of Fortune Lakshmi Devi!! She is the supreme Goddess!

I didn't read the Bible, but once when I was in India, I read some of Jesus teaching in the Bible, (because the rest of it didn't make sense to me) But Jesus words soothed my soul and he speaks just like a true Sadhu, or saintly person.

Hun you need to re-read Genesis it says that God created Jesus and that God with the help of his Son created the angels.

Jesus is the Son of God not God(but his Son)...that is what the bible says.

How can he be the son of himself?

God + God alone created Jesus (or The Archangel Michael which was his name in heaven {thats also his name in revelations}).

God + Jesus created the heavens and the angels in the heavens.
