Very nice but I don't agree that he should have a double pedal yet because it will hurt him when he gets older cause he won't be able to do as much with a single.....I got to we're I could play double bass stuff on a single then I got a double pedal and it helped me tons...that's just my opinion KEEP ROCKIN BUD!!!:)

Jonah obviously has a great memory. He has great feel and timing. All he needs now is to hone in on his hand development. WHEN HE'S READY, You should have a good teacher go thru the book "Stick Control" by George L. Stone with him. There are lots of great hand exercises in that book which will enhance his playing. He's kinda young and the book can be boring. But if you do the exercises to music, it helps make it more fun.

What if Jonah led a band for some of these? The drums are the hardest instrument to play to a recording. Drummers need to lead, but playing to a recording means to follow. With Jonah leading live musicians, all his flourishes, solos, and lead-ins would be spot on every time!

Bearing in mind the difficulties playing to a static recording, Jonah's performance is top notch. Tackling a Peart feature? Brave!

Another awesome cover, great job. One thing I've noticed in these videos is that his grip and his technique need the most work. He's clearly got a lot of great ideas, he's got decent speed, and if he could refine his technique I think he'd be able to more fully realize a lot of what he's trying to do. Just a thought.
