Your fee percentages are wrong, they charge an additional 9% on shipping, not 12%. But they tell you to put the shipping in the product cost field, then they'll get 12% on the total instead of 12% on item + 9% on shipping.
for paypal if the person is a scammer what happens to the scammer? is only a strike taken? or does paypal hunt you down until they pay ( say only a 50$ scam)

I do not know much but I would think it would be against the law for any individual or even a company (Ebay) to make a profit from people using USPS. To me its like this, if the USPS sells a 1st class stamp for .45cents then how can someone turn around and sell that same stamp for .50cents to make a profit? I would think that by paying for postage then the item belongs to the USPS until the package is delivered. I would think this is against the law to charge more for US issued products.
Its a way to force sellers to offer free shipping and by doing so, sellers are now forced to add the shipping costs into there fixed price sell items so that Ebay can take a bigger chunck of the FVF fees. People who use the auction type method will be losing out big. Buyers will leave negative feedback to sellers due to increase in shipping costs that the sellers are now forced to add into shipping. Stars will get dinged. Ebay reps are a den of wolfs and they dont even wear sheep clothing!!!
ebay should make buyers pay an escrow amt of 50.00 heald by ebay in order to bid on anything to secure sellers payments and they are limited to bid up to 50 if they want to bid on anything higher they muse "prepay" to the seller if they have 0 feedback ...what do you think crazeenydriver ?
Hi Joe - another good video about eBay. THANKS. The way I see it, the best thing sellers can do is to start listing their stuff on OTHER marketplaces that don't shaft them. Take a look at Bonanza.com or eBid.net. Don't put up with eBay's crap anymore.

12 % on shipping is bullshit. i calculated that if there is an item selling for 100$ + 15$ shipping at fixed price it would be 24% of the total price which is $27.60
