  • I love hearing your stories! I used to be a Smithsonian museum curator, and now I am a documentary filmmaker in Brooklyn. I'm working on a short film about memories of the 1939 New York World's Fair. I would love to interview you. Please send me a youtube message, or drop me an email at demandamurray [at] gmail.com if you're interested. I hope we can get in touch!

  • It is such a rarity to be able to hear stories of yesteryear. I appreciate this so much, that you have shared a personal memory with us. I hope you are doing well. Also, are you friends with any of your classmates still?

  • This is great! It is so rare to get firsthand history anymore. Thanks for posting these.

  • New York needs another event like the World's Fair given the low morale of the country lately.

  • Blessings and health, sir! :-) Thank you very much for sharing your experiences and memories!

  • Wonderful! Very few people who attended the world's fair are still around to tell their stories.

    Thanks for yours!

  • Marvelous story from a well-spoken and passionate storyteller. Thank you for sharing this! You paint such a vivid scene that I can't help but come back to.

  • The greatest respect to you, continue with your good health, and keep the intresting stories coming.

  • 'gather round boys and girls...' I feel exactly that way listening to you, like a child about to hear an adventure by a great storyteller !

Tell us more, tell us more !

  • Your videos are great sir, I really enjoy them.

  • Can't get these stories now-a-days. All kids have cell phones, internet and are so over-mature for their age.

I was a kid in the 80s and still I got the taste from the innocence and naive nature of the people. Not to be found today...

  • Awesome story :D

  • Great story

  • I love this video!! So was your teacher mad when she/he saw you next?

  • this is great!

did you ever imagine when you first saw the tv and monitor that you would one day be making videos of yourself?

What wonderful stories! I keep wanting to get my father in law to tell some stories while I have the video camera going. I hope you have grandchildren and great grandchildren and so forth that will be enjoying your videos!!

  • I love these kinda videos, awesome :D

Keep up the good work :3

  • great video, nearly 70 years and the police generally, still treat kids the same...if not worse.

It sucks getting screwed with that way.

  • Hey guy... Another awesome hat.

  • great video.

    1939... loved the story.

  • this is cool. im glad that everyone gets into youtube. it shows all aspects of humanity hearing stories from people. I'm working on starting a rock band and i hope that YouTube can get us some recognition.

By the way police shouldn't have done that with the phone. He really should have helped. :) Hopefully we can take our lessons forward and have some real public servants that won't bully children and teens.

  • i think its really cool that you are on youtube! :) It great that you have adapted with technology! keep it up!

  • nice story! :) i like your videos

  • Thanks for the kind words.
