@melissahburt yeah I'm sure spiders have some sort of instinct/personality thing. If not then what and who are they?! Lol spiders do have instinct over their owners cause you feed them. Mine looks at me after moving, stares at me and then keeps going. Like
i bought one 2 days ago i went to a pet shop my girlfriend bought some finch food an i seen it on display i talked to the lady about buying it i told her i would be back well 2 weeks i came back to buy it after talking in people haha it was gone = ( so she ordered another one i just got it i put it in its new home with three bugs etc it ate with thenn 5 min of beenin in its new tank.
Hey man. Im getting a versicolor as my 12th tarantula this monday. I must say yours is looking nice but its a bit too dark to see it to appreciate its beauty. (I wanna see the lovely colors) Are they really that docile? I heard that they can be as high strung. My only arboreal T that I have is my poke regalis.
Definitely one of the most docile tarantula's I've ever dealt with. While most will argue that t's never really get used to being handled, this particular species makes me wonder.
Actually my adult female versi's pretty nasty tempered. She'll rather bite than be handled, its typical for this pinktoe, one of the more high strung ones
My pink-toe has bitten once but has warmed up nicely but it took a little while. My Chilean Rose-hair though has never bitten and I would say to be the most docile species I've ever had the privilege of having or holding. I will get some more videos up of more of my animals now that my pet population is sky-rocketing to now 16 and still growing.
well done for handling her without the gloves =) she looks like she has grown a good bit. next thing is getting your friend to hold her while you do the recording lol
