@jkjkjij22 Did you miss Jurassic Park when it was first released? Anyway, early 90's special effects really weren't that impressive I think. Jurassic Par was just legendary, set the bar too high. Look at another great film, Terminator 2, which was made only 2 years prior. It wasn't till the late 90's/early 2000's that movies started catching up to JP. Just the humble opinion of a cinephile.

I can't explain how much I love this film. By far, the best plot ever created.

But the part that I love even more, was how they put breathtaking detail in how such a park would look and work if it were real. The fences, tour cars, visitors lodge, warning signs, the laboratory ... they all look so beautiful!

I know this sounds pathetic, but I'm still terrified when I watch this film. That's how awsome this movie is in my opinion. Steven Spielberg and his team did such a fantastic job that at 1:02, I feel like my heart will pop right out of my chest. The design of dinosours is so realistic. I also love John William's score. For example, actually build mechanized dinos like in Jurassic park to make it more physically real both to the actors and audience. Contrast to having actors stand in front of green screen entire time with shit on their face like in Avatar.
