  • This video leaves out a rather important qualification for deducting medical expenses. Per the IRS's Publication 502, Medical and Dental Expenses, "You can deduct on Schedule A (Form 1040) only the amount of your medical and dental expenses that is more than 7.5% of your AGI [adjusted gross income] (Form 1040, line 38)." Nothing of the kind is mentioned here!
