  • My Scandinavian Forest Axe is made by AS! :) I'm thinking of getting the Wildlife Hatchet too. Do you feel these two ax both compliment each other well? Do you usually carry both, or do you usually just take one?

  • i like the medium 1

  • Now the next vid will show you using them?

  • Nice axe. Small forest axe looks like a good bit of kit.

  • do you feel like your small forest axe is one that is small enough as to not be too much trouble to ride along in or on a day pack. is the extra length on the handle worth it over the wildlife hatchet? your the first person i've seen to ask who has both.

  • @blm148 they are both great axes to carry with u. the wildlife hatchet is great for making small fires and tool making because its a nice axe to operate it with one hand. But for larger fires and stuff i defenitely recommend the small forest axe because it cuts much faster, but the axe is a bit heavy to operate with one hand.

  • Looks like a Hudson Bay Camp Axe

  • my sfa is made by the same person!

  • @assassin616 Cool

  • I have both, and I'm thinking about getting the GB Mini, or the Wetterlings 10" Hand Axe. I'll probably go with the Wetterlings do to the extreme price difference between the two axes.

  • nice axes, any thoughts on wetterlings?

  • @slowtaknow They both make good axes, but overall i think GB is just a bit more quality
