Now any demolition expert will tell you (and many have been consulted) that it takes at least a week to fully prep a building that size for demolition. The interviewer didn't tell Jowenko how much damage was caused by WTC1, that it had major fires raging in it (according to FDNY), that in footage with sound there is no sign of detonation charges, or that the collapse was expected by FDNY & other experts on the scene. So he didn't have all the info that would have been useful to make a judgment. And if you think Jowenko is credible, note that he says WTC 1 & 2 were NOT demolitions.

Of course not. The theory is that it was used to bring down the towers. Not a single demo expert, highrise structural engineer, metallurgist, explosives & incendiaries expert, fire safety engineer, materials engineer, or forensic engineers has concurred with Jones. In science, corroboration is key.

idb87: Civil engineers are certainly smart people, but they aren't scientists. Jones is a physicist, which means that he's a scientist. Nearly any type of scientist, besides a biologist (and other medical types), is much more qualified than a civil engineer is to figure out the impossible, near free fall speed collapse of each of these 3 buildings. However, a physicist is immensely more qualified!
The colleges in most countries (including the U.S.) have limited amounts of physical science in the curriculum of their civil engineering courses. And without the laws of physics, created by scientists, the profession of civil engineer wouldn't even exist! Their knowledge of physical science is very basic when compared to an actual physicist.

Heat is transmitted from a fire to a human body by two means, radiation and convection. Radiatition is the heat you feel when standing in front of a afire. Convection is the heat carried in the air.

Please read the NIST report more carefully. They said fire alone would not have caused the collapse. It was the combination of the plane impacts, protective fireproofing torn from the steel, and fire. So it was three things. Kader and McCormick are examples of steel buildings collapsing. There's no evidence that thermite in any of its forms can make a controlled, horizontal cut across a thick steel column. No one has demonstrated that this is possible.
There was also molten material reported under WTC 6, where no one says there was a demolition.
And one thing we know for sure: If there was any molten steel, it sure wasn't caused by thermite. Once a thermite reaction ends, it can't keep anything hot, let alone molten.

I do not consider myself to be a conspiracy theorist, but I do believe these so called theories definitely warrant serious, non-biased investigation by a party with a marked lack of vested interest in either side. Just the photographs of diagonal cuts in the steel are enough to make you suspicious. Steel failures in a gravity collapse would have a random, twisted appearance - the cuts are clean and there is no buckling. As an engineer, just that alone is odd. A torsion faliure will create a diagonal break, but it would not be flat like that - the steel would be torqued around. Thats a major question.

Also, WTC 7 had working fires inside it's central structure which eventually weakened the main support sections of the structure which caused it's collapse. Thermite, Zirconium, Magnesium, all burn so hot and so furiously that structural failure likely would have been far faster than actually occurred. The Professor making this claim may have a Phd but he was dead wrong in his assumptions of conspiracy and probabilities of what happened that day.

I was a Firefighter/Fire Engineer/EMT for 8 years. I can tell with by experience and knowledge that this video's points hold zero water in fact. When you have the amount of heat, fuel, & oxygen generated by the original aircraft impacts and over 100 thousand pounds of Jet Fuel burning at extremely high temps, steel will eventually become molten and fail as did happen with the WYC buildings. This process was also accelerated by convection passing through inside and outside of each building.

Larry silverstein says they 'pulled it', find him on the net saying it. Now any demolition expert will tell you (and many have been consulted) that it takes at least a week to fully prep a building that size for demolition. It cannot be done in a day, (technically impossible) let alone hours like Silverstein is claiming, ergo - prior knowledge. The charges were in the building before 9/11. Why? The interviewer didn't tell Jowenko how much damage was caused by WTC1, that it had major fires raging in it (according to FDNY), that in footage with sound there is no sign of detonation charges, or that the collapse was expected by FDNY & other experts on the scene. So he didn't have all the info that would have been useful to make a judgment. And if you think Jowenko is credible, note that he says WTC 1 & 2 were NOT demolitions.

Given that Silverstein uses the term 'Let's'(3rd person plural), and is recounting a conversation he had with others ('they')he is obviuosly familiar with who 'they' are, one would venture to add 'in cahoots'. He is talking about a process, a chain of events that ended in them (they)(who he knows) 'pulling' the building. This alone nullifies the official vesion that the building came down as a direct result of the collapse of WTC1/2.

Looks like you slept through the clip. Jones was dancing around the fact that he hadn't submitted his thermite claims to a peer-reviewed journal. Still hasn't. Either that or they've been rejected. Aren't you supposed to undergo peer review before you start making scientific claims?

Explaining building 7 was not part of the commisions' mandate because it was not directly attacked like the towers. The 9/11 commision doesn't mention buildings 4, 6, and 7 or Deutsche Bank, so why the focus on 7?
The steel did not melt. Who said it melted? They fould molten metal, sure, but who said it was steel? Aluminum? Iron? Steel isn't the only metal that goes into the construction of buildings.

Nearly any type of scientist, besides a biologist (and other medical types), is much more qualified than a civil engineer is to figure out the impossible, near free fall speed collapse of each of these 3 buildings. However, a physicist is immensely more qualified!

Heat is transmitted from a fire to a human body by two means, radiation and convection. Radiatition is the heat you feel when standing in front of a afire. Convection is the heat carried in the air.
The famous pic of Edna Cintron in the breach shows no flame in the background. The heat was blocked by walls. She was also standing up-wind of the fire, near the bottom. Air would be coming in, preventing convected heat from reaching her. Fire Science 101.

nascar if the building would have collapsed due to steel falling all around it...then the people on the street wouldnt even have the balance or strength to stay standing. the building fell because of an inside job. you and everyone else knows it

LOL Do your homework before trying to "Debunk" poetry hound. NIST explains that the ultimate reason for the collapse was due to the intense burning causing weakening of the Trusses. And...show me a building Pre 9/11 that fell due to fire. Please think before trying to attack people's credibility on here.

Please read the NIST report more carefully. They said fire alone would not have caused the collapse. It was the combination of the plane impacts, protective fireproofing torn from the steel, and fire. So it was three things. Kader and McCormick are examples of steel buildings collapsing. There are many that have partially collapsed. The main point is that fire can & does weaken structural steel.

It is obviously very light-guage metal, being pulled out of a burning pile. It is far below the melting point. The sparkles dripping from it could actually be hot dirt or pulverized wood charchol. Nothing I have not seen in the collapse of a burniong wood and steel building. The yellow stuff at 1:05 looks more like glass. Yellow (medium hot) where thick, white(very hot) where thin? Back asswards, unless it is colored glass.

Many people point to that picture and claim it's evidence of "molten steel." First, if it was molten, it wouldn't be solid. Second, if it was molten, there would be concern about it fusing with the bucket and concern for the operator. The reports of "molten steel" were anecdotal.
