pete wentz is the worst bassist, possibly of all time, he plays the root not of every note in every song (that means he plays very simple shit) when he plays live he has awful technique and can't play half the basslines on their last album

@df411993 pete doesnt write the lyrics. and plus, pete sucks at bass. if you played bass (not criticizing, most people want to play guitar) then youd realize just how easy it is to play the bass lines in any of their songs. patrick writes most of the lyrics anyways, and whenever pete did, he usually had people hired to write them for him. thats one of the reasons their on hiatus, because patrick got fed up with pete.
