I'm currently a Sales and Operations director for a paper company called Parax Paper, we have stopped all production of virgin and recycled papers and moved to stone paper production, these products have so many applications while saving our planet at the same time!!
@sastock1981 Thanks for the comment. That's interesting. If you ever need someone to test your product(s) and provide video evidence of the honest impression, I may know someone. ;)
I never tried this paper, so I can't tell much about the quality, but it is very far from being a suitable replacement for a regular, wood-based paper. This paper is made of 80% stone and 20% plastic (which in turn is made from oil). Unlike trees, oil is a "non-renewable" resource and this paper waste can actually create more pollution than regular paper. Sure you could use bio-plastic instead, but that would waste even more trees. The only true paper replacement today is computer, iPad, etc..!
@CyberCacique1 Not true actually. I looked it up and Stone paper is 100% naturally degradable without any harmful effect to the environment, doesn't generate any toxic emission and doesn't waste any water during production. And it can be easily recycled, during which it uses less energy than recycling paper does. Check gaiakraft (dot com) for more info like this.

question: did you cut the edge off to give it a clean edge?
Graybear5150 1 year ago
@Graybear5150
I assume you're referring to the left edge; nearest to the spiral? If so, it's a perforated edge. I did no cutting.

@CyberCacique1 yes, sorry i wasn't clear. i tend to do that at times, ask questions without being clear what i am asking. but thanks for the answer!
