And few tips to help you recognize a 70 model ... Which tons of people say they have but don't .... 70 camaros only yr with chrome emblem on header panel, (rest are colored) short bucket seats with headrest, side marker lights blink with turn signals... To name a few... If all else fails or it's been resto..... Look at vin plate it will read st70
To lobzdik... Yes it's a package deal ...RS had split bumper with upper turn signal lights by the headlights and an extended urathane nose ....only RS pkg had splits but 95% of 70-73 camaro owners switch to splits because the look alot better....
looks like what my father had whan i was small ( he had a 1970 "1/2" camaro ss 396/402 with a L-88 hood like this with a horse shoe shiftier) i wish he still had it !! now all i got is a 75 LT. nice car ..never let it go.
did you use a stencil kit for the stripes i have the same hood on a 73 and like this set up of stripes please let me know as soon as possible as we are about to paint the car
I think it's an L88 hood. My brother had a 70 Camaro with an aftermarket hood on it. From memory, that's wha it looked like. I believe they were Corvette hoods matched to Camaros. It's been a while so I'm not positive.
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners do so Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree! ..
@bv468141 right, because everyone has an MKIV, geeez i think your possibly the billionth person claim to have a supra on YOUTUBE. thats like being the coolest kid at a mental hospital....but who cares if "your" supra is fast, its still JUST a toyota...
Hi, I'm 52 years old and I'm thinking of getting a 70 this weekend. Could you please tell me your tire and wheel sizes(PLEASE) Your car is beautiful!!!!
@PatwMartin they were marketed as a 70½ because of the late February 1970 release. , when all other cars usually hit the showroom in October of the previous year. Much like the 64½ Mustang.

cmon man there is kids right there on bikes how could you let it loose on that narrow of a street dont get me wrong nice car but think about the kids be responsible
man i love older cars but your mach 1 is fugly as hell.... even when it is all done... 72 was about the year ford really stated their crusade of ruining the mustang
fuck yeah, i just checked out his profile and looked at his ugly ass mustang.! no way that piece of shit even compares to this chevy camaro 70 z28 ! chevy=TRUE AMERICAN MUSCLE...
I know a guy who bought one of these for his son. It was in perfect condition, with a awesome Fire-engine red paint job. Then two days later he put 22's on the car with out changing out the suspension and threw a rod trying to burn out. (I know the suspension has nothing to do with throwing a rod, I'm just saying.) Then a month later, his dad bought him a newer car. A 97 civic... those cars suck.
The paint scheme is one i would like to see more of, any chance on getting a still shot of the front hood?? thanks, great looking WHIP!
