  • lol i would be too, still lucky to have a look around :)

  • im about to put two vids of the new train from when i was at robina that arvo should watch them :)

  • cool

  • I Live at Bethania. And i think that they a good train. But one thing is bad about them are how bad the sets are. They are hard to seat on not like the old trains but the are still very good trains. for QR The have

  • lol i see these trains everyday i live in edens landing near beenleigh and they always go down the gold coast very common here....but they're alright the EMU are my favourite best brakes aswell

  • These models dont have carpet like the old ones do?

  • No they dont. These units have a "melbourne" feel to them :(

  • lol. i love the ' not funded by QLD government bit!!!!!!

  • yeah and just think, you paid for those stickers! :)

  • i need to catch one of these someday. do you know what times they run at that stop at loganlea station?

  • They are currently only scheduled on 1 Northbound in the morning & 1 Southbound @ night, more information in the information box. Don't worry soon they will be common place on the network.

  • is Roma Street the main station in Brisbane and is it where the Sunlander and tilt train go from?

  • Roma Street is the main station for Long distance trains including the Sydney XPT in Brisbane & Brisbane Central is the Citytrain main station.

The Sunlander & Diesel Tilt Trains start from Roma Street and terminates @ Cairns.

The Electric Tilt Trains Start from Roma St & terminate @ Rockhampton.

  • what root was that? how did you find out about it ?

  • They currently only run between Robina & Bowen Hills as a trial service.

Ive put the url of the timetable in the information box >>>

  • Whoever ordered these trains was a stupid fool!! They don't even fit in the tunnel from Roma Street to Central, although the trains are French. I finally saw one of these trains near my house on the Ipswich line, very nice train, but very poor ordering!!

  • C'mon mate it was the builders of the 160's that made them too big to what was specified by QR. It was also the old tunnels between Brunswick St & Central. The only stupid thing is that they didn't order enough of them. You won't see them @ Ipswich often, you have to wait for the simular looking SMU 260's.

  • I thought that it was QR's fault for making them two big! I didn't realise that it was the manufacturer's fault. Can't wait to go on one though!

  • haha these trains are the best.ride in comfate and the best the aircon is alot better

  • macdonaldjohnstonfan sounds like he is channelling John Coyle!!!! ;-)

  • what the hell does that have to do with the vid?

  • the trains are not french. they are made by edi bomader in queensland. we have the (almost) same train over here in perth... they are great

  • I think the comment was made to the French connection to Bombardier who are based in Quebec, Canada (well French-Canadian, close enough: P) I'm pretty sure they make the parts of the units and they get put together @ EDi Maryborough, right here in sunny Qld!

  • QR should put a 1720 on the front, it'll look better :P

  • The D.F.C. Express.
