skyward sword was a failure in my eyes. im almost done with the game, only thing i liked were the boss battles, they were really good, but visuals and music were nothin special. twilight still looks like a newer game than this.

and yea i agree with naveen, wind waker was my favorite zelda, the story was ridiculously good.

What's sad is that almost everything in the trailer didn't make it to game. :,( TP could've been so much more. It looked very warlike. But there wasn't war at all. Not close to the way it was portrayed. Hope WiiU Zelda leans a little more towards a dark style, except exaggerated/ stylized. Since thats what everyones asking for. Who knows what will happen.

@XsharkunX The reason this was such a great reaction had nothing to do with the actual game. After all, it's just a trailer. It was the timing and visuals. It had been six long years since we've seen adult Link, and in between that, we got the cartoony Wind Waker and cartoony DS spinoffs. Then, out of the blue, Nintendo whips out an adult Link in a gritty, realistic world of darkness. It was the shock factor that got everyone riled up. I don't think it'll happen again.

With all the new stuff they've integrated into the gameplay as well as the supposed significantly heightened difficulty, I think it's going to be one of the best Zeldas yet. As far as the graphics, I don't mind them. Save the Twilight Princess realism for the high definition graphics of the Wii-U, I say.

@JackSparrow424 Legend of Zelda is not just a game. It... like Super Mario Bros. transcends time and is not only dearly loved by the first generation who grew up with it, but also learning to be loved by those that have come after.

I know that sounds nerdy but like movies, or sports teams every so often comes a juggernaught. Something that completely blows your ears off and makes you ask for more. Legend of Zelda was that and continues to be that with every new installment.
