going through the tutorial mode on ground game will help. basically just flick back or hold back the R stick when you see theyre about to kick you off.

I had a guy beat me by decision (only loss to a stick-hugger) and he held me in open-guard down and just punched me in the body over and over again. I got him off of me a few times but he had a modded controller as well. That ruins games.

4 ways to beat this style. 1 step back when he lounges in by flicking bakc on your left analog. then go for your take down punches or clinch. 2 time it and catch it then take down. 3 just wait for him to lounge in and go for a take down. 4 time his lounge and knock him the fuck out with one punch. I have knocked out sherk and penn several times with nate diaz running in with the same jab and superman punch simply by timing it with a good hook left hook. Not the power hook the regular left hook.
what i like about this game is that its realistic. i can come play play ufc without having to worry about stupid stuff like getting killed by miracle grenades and javelins.
you should've posted 1 or 2 mw2 matches from yourself with commentary at least =( or commentated on why you don't like the game (although personally, i think 4 and even world at war are more skill based)

I hate mw2 for one reason. Bastards camp with tactial insertions and get headshots with silenced weapons until they get nukes on free-for-all. A game is ment for fun not for getting to tenth prestige faster than they're faggy ass friends.
Actually i hate the game as they made tactial insertions which made cheating sublimely easy, but i also hate the players who do cheat. But sometimes it is Lvl 10-20 and they go to an obvious place and you can get a double kills.

Im irish and my family has 4 computers with broadband shared between them so i'm happy as a duck in water if i get a solid 3 bar in a match. Also the spawns are pretty good iw have done much better than cod4 anyway, as it is nearly impossible to spawn trap
blametruth I totally know what you mean, I'm disapointed with a lot of the aspects of MW2 as well. Camping dominates the multiplayer because its so easy to be killed, and theres way to much airsupport
yea dude they kind of made u camp in that game with the so many kill streaks u have to camp it seems to get them, most times i can't get pass a 4 killstreak (counter UAV) cause i get killed by someone with heatbeat sensor and camping in a corner

MW2 multiplayer is garbage. It is the most unbalanced, skilless crap I've ever witnessed. And from what I've heard, BlameTruth has a similar opinion. Oh well...guess I'll wait til bad company 2.
Yeah with mw2 it is very hard to stay consistent. I remember a few days ago i went 10-0 on SnD. next game i went 1-6. A guy in the game actually asked me why I either do really good or really bad. The only answer I could think of was that it is extremely hard to be consistent.
mw2 does too much to close the gap between shitty players and skilled players for a guy like BlameTruth. So stfu and go watch Hutch or wait until Bad Company 2 comes out.
BlameTruth doesn't do MW2 vids because it doesn't take skill. I consider myself skilled at CoD4, yet I've already almost doubled my ratio in MW2 without altering my playing style.

I agree with him. there are no variety in the guns and the guns are too fucking overpowering, almost no recoil on any of guns and there's no sway. However the single player is fucking amazing.

MW2 multiplayer is garbage. It is the most unbalanced, skilless crap I've ever witnessed. And from what I've heard, BlameTruth has a similar opinion. Oh well...guess I'll wait til bad company 2.

Yeah with mw2 it is very hard to stay consistent. I remember a few days ago i went 10-0 on SnD. next game i went 1-6. A guy in the game actually asked me why I either do really good or really bad. The only answer I could think of was that it is extremely hard to be consistent.

BlameTruth doesn't do MW2 vids because it doesn't take skill. I consider myself skilled at CoD4, yet I've already almost doubled my ratio in MW2 without altering my playing style.

He got fucking wrecked. That was an amazing round. P.S. mw2 sucks donkey balls don't waste your time unless it really starts to cut into your subs. I found out in that game that I can tolerate it as many rounds as I go 3/1 k/d ratio and then the second I get a bad game I flip out and turn it off. Obviously that means I don't play that much.
