How do you gutload your mealworms? Please any help you can give me, I'm looking to get a Leopard Gecko and I can't find any solid information on how to properly gutload them.

@Walawalawolf Feed them lots of scraps like apple pieces, watermelon, broccoli, literally anything healthy that we eat they will too!

@maddy101231 If you just got him today do not be alarmed by him not eating. Most of the time the lizard is under lots of stress when being transported and being put into a new home/cage etc. Sometimes it takes a couple days before they feel comfortable enough to eat!

@Austin76711 Yea crickets are actually more nutritious then worms. My gecko just doesn't like crickets. What do you mean identify what he means?

@Austin76711 Well not many gecko's actually "Enjoy" being handled. They can just be very tame and more comfortable with it. But unlike a dog, gecko's don't like being scratched under there chins, cause if you have seen under there chins as he breathes it goes up and down so it's a uncomfortable spot for them. I would suggest just getting used to handling him and he will settle down.

I haz a baby leopard gecko and it's banded, and I have no idea wat morph it is and I never feed him/her meal worms, I just feed it crickets. And it love eating them

@aflpds9 He likes to eat, but sometimes he doesn't so it depends. Sometimes he he eats like 2 and sometimes like 8.

It's impossible for meal worm to eat through the lining of a gecko's intestines, because they have to pass through the stomach and the acids, which undoubtedly kill the worm before entering its tract. There must have been other problems, like impaction or something.
