Some went to America, others to the UK and others to Australia just to name a few countries. Our family settled back in Turkey and we share one common thread WE NEVER LEFT GREECE IN OUR HEART. Oh i have to see this event for real, i live in Canada and they do hold the same style event called the Panayiri. Maybe both cities can talk and maybe do a joint event some year. I could see the Canadian and Greeks comming together for such a great event. Bravo Greeks.

I have to agree with the many posts on here that the choice of music is perfect. I love the sound of this festival, and plate smashing?? I never heard of it, but it seems so much fun in a pointless way! Well done Australians. Great event, and I'd certainly go to it if i lived in Australia.

O.K I'm from the US, I have no clue where darwin is, but it sure sounds like a great place to visit and see this festival. I have greek friends from my old high school days, and they were so much fun. We have a large Greek Comminuty here in Ohio, but they dont put on anything like this. Very hard work and stressfull it seems, but such a magnificent event. Go Greek!.
