there's something odd about finding a beatle album on vinyl at an antique store. it feels....like magical! My first piece of vinyl was their Eight days a week/i dont want to spoil the party-single. putting that "little piece of plastic" under that needle on that turntable, it was a special moment...very odd feeling like i was part of history or something... =)
@LtDrg35 Hey thanks for the reply. I've been looking for this video and I've seem to erase it in my IE favorites. Yeh I'm old, but I've experienced Beatlemania in the 60's. Too bad you didn't...hahaha!
my mom was one of those idiots who threw away her albums after lennon's Bigger than jesus quote. After i found that out i slapped her arond a few times.
You shouldn't call her stupid, she did it because it was right to her and her values. One should respect his mother more than a band of talented millionaires you'll probably never meet and who'll never care about you.
Jesus is the biggest Beatle fan there ever was. i can't imagine what HE would do to your Mom for throwing away her records after that Lennon quip! :))
Well, Jesus is all about forgiveness, isn't he? If you study your book, like a good, non-judgemental, Christian should, you should know the answer to that one.
But then again, there is a chance that there will be an inconceivable Nothingness when you die.
No one knows for sure AristYdes. But John did write some great music that moved people all around the world, in a positive manner. -vICioUS-
it WAS it's own song at one point. they then added it to cry baby cry. so without the rest of the song a person can assume it's "can you take me back". you should look up the download for it, it's pretty amazing :] i think it's on youtube
This is better than the "Beatles Anthology" series. Moves along much faster without all those long-winded "modern day" interviews with the Fab Three. LOL
This film had nothing to do with Apple. The opening was taken from Son of Dracula (1974). Cream of Beatles was made in 1973 and was first aired on ABC TV's Good Night America. Braverman won an Oscar and went on to make alot of movies. Do you know where I can find the whole 15 minute film? My copy is a poor quality video tape.
Early 70's record store promo. I remember seeing this in a joint called the Record Bar. It stunk then too. Just a re-hash of any old crap they could throw together.
This appears to be a rough cut of the unreleased film, "THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD" which was the fore-runner for the Anthology documentary. This film was done by the folks at Apple in the mid-1970s with little involement from The Beatles themselves.
this is an absolutely amazing beatles video for true beatles fan, i have seen almost every single DVD or video on the beatles and have been a fan for years, and i have never heard of our seen this ever before, amazing find...do u have the rest?

Starting at 5:18, these are exactly the type of videos I would like to create. I love those quick image splices. Very psychedelic.

Ringo's right hand just swinged!!! One of the best & tastiest drummers ever (no matter what many would say & I've been a pro drummer since 1968.)

I wonder if this is the original cut of Anthology that Neil Aspinall did in the early 70s.
RandalBauer11 2 years ago
Don't think so. This doesn't have the authentic Apple Corps logo. Nor does Aspinall's name appear on the opening credits.
proken58 2 years ago
That IS one of the authentic Apple logos from the 60s, it was used in their 2 films John and Paul took over to the States when they announced Apple.

Jews never forgive. and rightly so. and Jesus claimed never to be anything but a Jew. peace and pampers. peace and pampers, ya'll!
