  • @GBev2K You are so right. Imagine if Ndamukong Suh,Ray Lewis,Demarcus Ware, Troy Polamalu,Jared Allen,Peppers, Clay Matthews, Harringson, etc were allowed to launch themselves, clotheline, grab and yank facemasks, take out knees, chop block, trip, etc. Whew! It'll be pretty nasty.

  • Tatum should be #1, his hits are different from anyone else- you can almost feel it just watchin it.

  • When I play APF2k8 I use Dick Butkus and Jack Tatum. It's brutal even in the video game!

  • feared but not respected lets just say that folks

  • @hitek9wittafullclip meant to say if today way bigger, stronger, faster, athletic in a much faster game played with those rules, the players would die on the field. My fault

  • Its stupid when people say today NFL is soft when player safety #1. Clotheslines, diving for knees, grabbing facemasks, helmet to helmet, tripping, etc isn't real football. Look at health issues those players have. This aint the Roman Colisuem,so why see somebody else get hurt? And if todays way bigger, stronger, faster, athletic players in a much faster game, players would die on the field. Football is dangerous enough as it is.

  • @hitek9wittafulclip Agreed. Today's players aren't soft. It's today's rules that don't allow them to do the dirty things you could do in the past. Also, I am disgusted by the "hitting a defenseless receiver" penalty. Seriously... if the receiver holds onto the ball, it's a great legal hit, but if it flies off his hands or the hit causes him to drop it, it's often a flag. Give me a break! Go out there and keep hitting. don't worry about the flag!

  • @Pgaither84

The NFL was the best sport in America before all those bullshit rules started.

  • Number one. Period.

That was the last era when football was football. Not the BS we are stuck with now. I don't even really much pay attention anymore because it makes me sick with all the pansy-ass rules.

  • I remember Jack with the Buckeyes; he was a beast in college too. All American on the 1968 National Championship team. Busted up O.J. Simpson in the Rose Bowl the entire second half.

  • Jack Tatum, was one of Al Davis, beloved Raider, may they all rest in peace.

  • Should be a tie at #1 Dick Butkus and Jack Tatum

  • Opportunists at Cheap Shots everyone is watching here.

  • I wish we still played like that today so much rules you can't even hit hard like that no more you might as well play flag football

  • @Chris1aviles Totally agree, Roger Goodell is destroying football. I can understand protecting the players to an extent, but this is football man, a fucking mans game. RIP Jack Tatum "The Assassin", my favorite Raider of all time

  • @Chris1aviles IF they played like that now people would die. They are way to fast and stronger now.

  • @GBev2K fast and strong, yes. Tougher? No. If a player today got hit over and over like back then, the crying would never stop. They wouldn't die because they would be too intimidated to go back out on the field.

  • @1thepner My point is...if the stronger and faster players of today were allowed to hit like the Jack Tatums and Ronnie Lotts of the old days you would see deaths on the field. I'm not talking about who is tougher between now and then. A tough guy can get hit by a bicycle and be fine, but if he gets hit by a truck it doesn't matter how tough he is.

  • Check out Sammy White's chin strap, and helmet.

  • A natural born beast. Should've been #1.

  • Favorite player I wasn't old enough to watch.

  • That's how football was played back then. If he did that now (he'd still be a beast) he'd be kicked out of the NFL.

  • i havent watched all of this top ten, where was bruce smith i know he has to be on here........

  • He made a hit on Issac Curtis and Neimiah Wilson his team mate KO'd them both on one hit. Neimiah just lay'd there, Curtis got up then collapsed before he reached the sideline. Curtis was big, and Wilson was hanging on to him after a catch but couldn't bring him down in comes Tatum blows both up. This is no exageration.

  • Stupid how people admire a man who "intimidated" players by cheating and being a lowdown cheapshot artist -- which he undoubtedly was. It's too bad, too, b/c he had great natural ability to be a top player -- which he was apart from the thuggery.

  • @pnutbutrncrackers Tell me how those hits were cheap? I would LOVE to know how.

  • @rorank Are you blind, man? You've got to be kidding. Not even worth dignifying with an answer.

  • @pnutbutrncrackers What does it say at 0:35. It was LEGAL. Not cheap at that time, LEGAL. So how is he being a "thug" by tackling to his full potential?

  • @rorank No, the video DOESN'T say that. The man said that "a LOT of his hits were legal" -- definitely not ALL of them. Are you really so naive as to think that many of the shots shown in this clip were EVER legal? Well, as one who remembers Tatum and that era well, they were NOT. They were cheap then, and they look cheap now. And that's the reputation he had back then -- and deservedly so. Sorry to bring down a hero of yours? A good tough player apart from that, so it's a shame.

  • @pnutbutrncrackers Is there anyone who calls him a dirty tackler in this video? No. Can you give me any film saying his hits were illegal? No. 0:40. 1:30. Two people who actually PLAYED in the pros saying he wasn't a dirty hitter. What evidence do you have? You have a chip on your shoulder, that's what you have.

  • @rorank You have a chip in front of your eyes, that's what you have. Bye.

  • It was a different era for sure. Every team Almost , had a huge hitter in the d back position. Denver had Attwater I can't remember all of the names . There was a saftey with the Redskins, A guy in Detroit , Dallas had one, Miami . Plus they could literally swing on receivers. it was called the hook

  • @tellthetruthg Chicago Bears... DICK BUTKUS

  • @kewlbreez77 Yea Butkus was the monster of the Midway. He was scary. Bent RB's up like a Pretzel then smash them into the ground

  • @tellthetruthg ... and the one ex-player says @ 3:27 "...I don't even want to know who you got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5..." well now, he must not be too knowledgable about the sport if he never heard of Butkus, or Lott, or the others. Now, for flat out MEAN-N-UGLIEST defensive player of all time, can't beat the Packer middle linebacker HOF'er, the great Ray Nitschke !

  • @kewlbreez77 I think the post is about strong safeties hardest hitters. There is a difference . Butkus, Nitschke LB's hit different; mostly wrap up the ball carrier twist them up. SS zeroed in on players and the hit ran through them. Looks way more like a harder hit. IE Night train Lane or Lott & Tatum. No doubt rules have changed the game and lists are subjective. One thing I can say with out doubt. Everyone on the posted list hit harder and were allowed to more than what we see in today's NFL

  • your the best al davis you will always be # 1 u changed football may u rest in peace long live raidernation

  • my favourite player

  • I wouldn't want to see Jack Tatum coming down at me on a football Field He could hit you to the moon its a shame he isn't with us anymore

  • "Number 6?! Revaluate that!" LMAO!

  • @00:45 good strtegy

  • Comment removed

  • man, almost everything this guy did would be considered dirty today

he did seem kind of like a punk, but the game was different then..so...

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Jack Tatum wasn't a punk at all, if you listen to what his teammates said about him, he was a VERY good teammate. He didn't fuss about anything, just went out and played, and always gave it his all. He might come off as a "punk" to the other team, because football was different back then. Teams didn't like each other, they weren't out socializing before they played each other like they do now. Look at Joe Greene, nice guy in real life, meanest guy on the field.

  • @crx122 allow me to rephrase, what i meant was, they way he hit people without the ball, or not involved in the play, then hit them again while they were down, would most likely be considered "punk ish" today. However, i know the times were different, and as a Steeler fan, i'm sure our guys had some defensive players that were just like that. I should have explained better. This guy is one mean mother F, and i'm glad i never had to play against him.

  • Comment removed

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Yeah, well back then defense dominated the game. Remember up until 1978 for instance defensive backs could literally pound receivers all over the field, there was no 5 yard contact rule. Defenses were supposed to be fierce and aggressive, Tatum and Atkinson were no different. Joe Greene frequently kicked people in the balls if they were holding him, Lambert loved to give late hits to guys way out of bounds to intimidate, all defense played like that, Raiders were stereotyped

  • @crx122 i thought that 5 yard rule didn't start getting enforced until the middle of this decade after the Pats more than abused it. either way. I wasn't stereotyping. I know how it is, like i said, those few late hits, today would be "punk-ish" . I understand the stereotype, as a Steeler fan, every video featuring them on here has about 100 comments about how they are "dirty"

I miss that age of football. Somewhere in between the defense of then, and the offense of now, lies a perfect game

  • No. 6!?

  • raiders were the most feared team in the NFL before davis started shiting his pants

  • Cheap shot artist. I have nothing against hard hitters.. but hitting helmet to helmet.. swinging forearm shots to the head as he tackled.. GROSSLY late hits after the whistle... I don't see anything great about that. Give me L.T. or Ray Lewis any day. Plus he never apologized for paralyzing Darryl Stingley. He didn't have to apologize for playing hard.. but at least have some class and show remorse for altering someone's life.

  • @megavega4 quit being a pussy

  • @megavega4 The game was played much differently back then. Should he be obligated to apologize for something he did that was completely legal? He also did apologize a few years later.

  • @DJprofessork72 Why is everyone hung up on the LEGALITY of the situation? This is a sure sign that society is in the toilet. The man ruined someone's life forever. Anyone with a conscience would feel badly about that and apologize IMMEDIATELY. Not some cheap ass attempt years later. You can be an effective defensive player and not have to resort to cheap shots. NFL history is full of players like that. He was feared because he played dirty, not with true skill. He's no Lawrence Taylor.

  • @megavega4 ur jus an ignorant fuck he did apologize and he did watt they paid him to do hit ppl back then all his hits were legal back then so rethink of a way to be a dick

  • @jshrewsbear He waited YEARS to apologize. Not nearly the same as apologizing the next day. Legal or not, it was done without regard or conscience. Jack Lambert hit hard too and he never paralyzed anyone. The Raiders were notorious for being cheap shot artists anyway, so he fit right in. Also, you need to learn syntax and how to spell. Watt is an electrical term and "rethink of a way" doesn't make any sense. And I just thought of a new way to be a dick. I can do an impersonation of you.

  • @megavega4 okay guy whatever u say there big man here sumthing for u i found a new use for my dick jamming it down ur mothers mouth stfu

  • @megavega4 I don't know where you got your information from, but Tatum DID try to appologise immediately after the game, and for several years thereafter, but was met with hostility from those in Stingley's corner. And for you to bring CRAZY ASS JACK LAMBERT into this discussion, is totally HILARIOUS! Lambert "MAY" not have "PARALYZED" anyone but he and the rest of that motley crew of the Steel Curtain defense, HURT a lot of people. The Steelers were just as vicious as the Raiders back then.

  • @Oaklandgirlpitlover1 Don't even try to rationalize with the guy, he is just some cry baby. He doesn't understand what a freak accident is, and moreso that Jack did nothing wrong. By his logic, if someone was driving and lost control of their car, and smacked into another car, the guy who had parked his car in that spot should go apologize to the driver of the other one if he was to get paralyzed. Football was different back then, Jack played in the rules, that guy is just a baby.

  • @crx122 I agree with you. I'm so sick of steelers fans that have been stricken CRS ( CAN'T REMEMBER SHIT ). They want to point out Tatum and Atkinson of Oakland, but somehow forget about all the atrocities on that famous Steel Curtain Defense for Pittsburgh. Case in point, Super Bowl X (10). AFTER THE WHISTLE, Pittsburgh Cornerback Mel Blount, comes up behind Dallas Wide Reciever Golden Richards, and punches him in the ribbs. Breaking at least two of them, which would put him out of the game.

  • @Oaklandgirlpitlover1 By the way.. I'm not a Steelers fan at all. Just pointing out another hard hitter. Yes, Lambert was crazy... but not nearly as dirty as Tatum. Oakland was NOTORIOUS for being a dirty team. And your logic is SO flawed it doesn't even merit a reply. Tatum didn't lose control of his body.. so compare apples with apples. It's about having a regard for life and a conscience, something Tatum clearly didn't have, which is why he died the way he did. Justice was served in the end..

  • @megavega4 Oh yes Lambert was as dirty as Tatum. Plus we are talking about the 1970's here. You and I BOTH know, that you could interchange players between Oakland and Pittsburgh, you would have roughly the same results. Both teams were NOTORIOUS for being dirty. But as for the Tatum/Stingley situation, it was just a freak accident. If anything, you should be mad at Steve Grogan for throwing such a high pass over the middle. Leaving Stingley so vulnerable. By the way, are you a Patriots fan?

  • @Oaklandgirlpitlover1 Wow @ blaming Grogan... if that's not shifting the blame.. I don't know what is. It's nearly unanimous throughout the NFL that the Raiders cornered the market on playing dirty in the 70's. And the only thing I hate more than the Patriots.. is Hitler... in fact.. if football ever became an Olympic sport and the Patriots represented the USA.. I'd root for the other country.

  • @megavega4 Oh DAMN!! Really? Are you saying that Grogan threw a "GOOD" pass? I'm really having a hard time understanding your logic. And from what you are saying, you are neither a fan of the Raiders, Steelers or Patriots. I say to you again. Tatum's hit on Stingley, was a freak accident, and Tatum DID try to make ammends with Stingley, and everyone in that circle. But was unsuccesful. And the hit was leagal. I'm sorry you can't accept it. But it is what it is. Both are home with the Lord

  • @Oaklandgirlpitlover1 I'm saying that Grogan threw the pass that he was able to throw. Obviously you don't throw low if your receiver has a height advantage on the defensive back. I understand that it was a freak accident. But waiting far too long to apologize was NOT an accident. And if he was shunned by Stingley's camp, then he should have come out publicly and expressed his remorse for paralyzing someone. Not for playing hard. My issue was never with the legality of the hit.

  • @megavega4 I am trying to ell you, that he tried to make amends immediately after the game. Now, I'm sorry that YOU didn't get the memo. From what you are saying, YOUR only issue, is that he didn't publicly appologise sooner. BIG DEAL. And SINCE he did indeed get shunned in his early attempt to make amends, his attitude was "FUCK IT". He waited until things cooled down, then tried again. But, arguing about it with me or anyone else about this is pointless. Both are gone now. Brotha', LET IT GO.

  • @megavega4 Dude, shut the fuck up. Jack Tatum doesn't need to apologize for shit, stop all this good humanity bullshit. Football is a VIOLENT game, he was paid to be a football player, and played his hardest. He made a clean, hard hit, and a freak accident occurred. Why in the fuck would he owe any apologies for something accidental that he had no control over? When you sign on to play in the NFL, you accept the risks associated with it. Stop acting like Jack did something wrong, just shut up.

  • @crx122 Regardless of whether or not it was an accident.. people should still behave with some sort of regard for another person's life. I played football for years and did my fair share of hitting and getting hit, so it's not like I'm speaking from the sidelines. What he did wrong was act with no remorse,, PUBLICLY.. almost like he was glad that he did it. But as I said.. he got what he deserved in the end.

  • @megavega4 Him doing his job and making a clean tackle is not having disregard for someone else's life. Every football player knows the risk of playing the sport, and they accept those risks when they play the game. I played football too, I broke my arm my second year on my HS team getting tackled and was out for the season, I didn't bitch that the other guy now owed me an apology for an accident. Why would Tatum feel remorse for doing NOTHING WRONG, and making a legal hit? You have no point..

  • @megavega4 (Part 2) And just saying if you really are a football player then shame on you. To blame a guy for a freak accident and degrade who he is as a person over something he couldn't control makes you the hateful person. Oh and as far as you saying "Jack got what he deserved" how so? He had a great career, was a successful businessman after retiring, and lived a good life up until some health problems. He was well up in years by then, don't be pulling out the karma card here rofl.

  • @crx122Actually, I have a great point. I NEVER ( read this closely) NEVER talked about the legality of the situation. But if a man can walk away from doing his "job" knowing that his actions altered another man's life for the worse and not feel remorse, then that man has no conscience. Let's look at a sport FAR more violent than football. There was a boxer named Emile Griffith who killed a man named Benny Paret in the ring.

  • @crx122 (part 2) There was a rumor that Griffith was gay and Paret taunted him before a fight calling him a "maricon" (faggot in Spanish). Griffith savagely beat him in one round to the point where he collapsed and started to convulse. Griffith was devastated and was never the same after that and years later Paret's son agreed to meet him so that he could apologize. That's the difference between a man with and without a conscience. Tatum was 62 when he died in bad health. Not that old.

  • Comment removed

  • @megavega4 What you just said made no sense. You gave an example of another guy killing someone in the boxing ring, out of malice. In that case a guy purposely went out with the intention of hurting someone, and wound up taking it too far. That's COMPLETELY different than a guy who is playing a game within the rules, makes a legal hit, and a freak accident out of his control occurs. Your idea that Tatum should feel remorse for doing nothing wrong, and unintentionally hurting some1 is ridiculous.

  • @megavega4 First of all, Jack Tatum 'did' attempt to go to see Stingley right after the incident, but was blocked by Stingley's agent and others at the hospital. And even if Tatum did not attempt to apologize, there is no law saying he had to, or had to show 'remorse', because he did nothing wrong, he was doing his job, which was playing football. So, I would suggest you first get your facts straight, and stop being a 'bitch' about the whole thing, sir.

  • Earl Campbell vs Jack Tatum. Wouldve loved to have seen those guys go heads-up in drills.

  • he should be in the hall of fame

  • He's not a criminal to me,his a heck of a football player... rednecked, racist, hillbilly...

  • you see the respect they give to the fuken RAIDERZ MAYNE this dude a fuken beast at least number 1 sheit

  • Roger Goodell has to go.

And now, there are several online petitions you can sign to get his pap smear butt out of the NFL. Just look up "Petition to remove Roger Goodell" on Google.

  • Cheap shot POS.

  • Oh wait. Darryl Stingley is dead. Oh sorry!!

  • The old Raiders players are SUPER annoying on these countdowns

  • Eligible voters.....Do the right thing.....Jack Tatum belongs in the Hall of Fame

  • Sammy White dislikes this...

  • @BassAssassin9 Or Darryl Stingley disliked this...

  • @TechnoBoy301 Yeah, for real.

  • If I was coaching the Raiders, I would of put bounties on Bradshaw, Franco Harris, and Lynn Swann. Tatum, Atkinson,Villipiano,Hendricks on DEFENSE!

  • The last seven years of his live Tatum did have a lot of health problems related to diabetes and other ailments and they had to amputate his leg. If I could have been there during the last year of his life I would have gone to the hospital, given him the finger, and said, "Karma's a bitch, isn't it asshole?"

"I have never killed a man but I have read many an obituary with great satisfaction." ---Clarence Darrow

  • @danning1 You Karma people crack me up, seriously. There is no such thing as Karma. How in the world can you prove Jack having health problems 20 years later has anything to do with the way he played football? Rules were different then, and EVERYONE played differently, not just him. Horrible injuries happen in football, Jack isn't the only one to paralyze someone, and moreso it was a completely legal hit even by today's standards. You guys and your karma bullshit, it's hilarious.

  • Only number 6

  • id like to thank the nfl for handcuffing defenders so much that there will never be another hitter like this again. you can shove your Pussy Football League up your asses

  • @ssfightteam You go out there and play and see if you think what happens on the field in the NFL isn't rough or dangerous enough. Armchair tough guy.

  • @danning1 like the 5 million they make a year isnt worth the risk? i played for free for 12 years and it was worth the risk. clearly youre a huge pussy. and the stingley hit was clean. especially for back then. funny how when hes got one leg is when youd give him the finger. cuz in his prime you wouldnt have the balls to do it. flip off an old cripple, whos really the "armchair tough guy"?

  • @ssfightteam Flipping off an old cripple would not make me a coward, it would depend entirely on my motives and on the situation. Since Jack Tatum was proud to be a dirty player when he played, and since he expressed no remorse for what he did to Stingley and to others, I would view it as poetic justice. Sort of look at this this way, Hitler was an injured and broken man at the end of his life. Would you have felt sorry for him if you had seem him in that state before he committed suicide?

  • @danning1 Did u just compare a mass murderer to a football player?? those 2 situations arent remotely close so thats not a way of looking at it. and your motives? back then it wasnt dirty. it was intimidation. which is a huge deal in football. why would he feel remorse for stingley? yea it sucks what happened, but he was doin exactly what he got paid to do. he didnt break his neck on purpose. it was a clean hit that had a bad outcome. thats it

  • @ssfightteam That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. "Pussy Football League?" Seriously? They banned helmet to helmet collisions, that's it, it's not like they made a rule that you have to hit nice. Hitting helmet to helmet is completely dangerous, and they don't teach you to tackle that way, it's dirty and cheap. You can EASILY deliver a crushing hit using legal means without leading with your helmet. You say pussy league, yet Ray Lewis would send you home crying with a LEGAL hit, gtfo.

  • @crx122 Are you sure about that? What about the defenseless receiver rule? Or hitting a QB in the head with your hand being 15 yards? Even the horsecollar rule is bullshit in alot of cases. Maybe get your facts straight. And Lewis wouldnt do shit cuz id kill him and then testify against my friends to save my own ass.

  • @ssfightteam The QB rule was completely pointless to this play, and by the rules he wasn't a defenseless receiver. Seems like you don't even understand the rule at all. It is actually mainly to protect people from being hit from behind. In this play the receiver was going for the ball, and Tatum delivers a clean hit with his shoulders. It was a totally legal hit, get over it. The rest of your keyboard thug bullshit is hilarious. You wouldn't shoot anyone, so just shut up.

  • @crx122 What the fuck are you talking about? Pointless to this play?? What fucking play? When did i say i was talking about the stingley hit? Or any hit specifically?? I understand the rules perfectly, seems you dont understand english. Obviously youre a fucking retard to not get the "kill lewis and testify against my friends" reference. If you really followed football youd know lewis is a murderer and sold out his friends and i was making fun of that.

  • @ssfightteam Well dumbass when you complain about the Stingley hit, it would be logical for me to assume you were still referring to it. I didn't realize that in between posts you realized you were a moron and that I was right, and gave up, my bad :). Oh and I got your reference, I simply won't feed your trolling, so I irritate you instead. He was found innocent, so you have no basis to state what you just did as if it is factually proven. You're a mental midget, give up.

  • @crx122 Show me where i complained about the stingley hit you fucking retard. Look at my posts on the 2nd or 3rd page and see i defended the hit to a guy saying it was dirty, and youll see youre a fucking jackass. You commented on my post about the nfl. Not tatums hit. Maybe check what youre replying to next time douche.

  • @ssfightteam Well actually I could disprove everything you just said and keep getting the better of you... but why? I've already won in a much larger way, I've got you in a fit raging at your keyboard, I've made you into my puppet. So no matter what at the end of the day I'm the one provoking you and winning, and you're the gullible and mentally inferior retard who gets manipulated by me for my amusement. Sucks to be you.

  • @crx122 The reason you wont disprove everything i just said is cuz you cant. I can actually read and understand english which obviously you cant. And for you to think im "raging" shows how stupid you are. I laugh at your posts since everything youre typing is bullshit. If youre such a genius then disprove a single thing ive said.

  • @ssfightteam It's very interesting how you talk about your advanced comprehension of English, and denounce mine, yet you have a very substandard vocabulary, horrible grammar, context, and sound like a general inarticulate douche. I pointed out how gullible you are, and how I manipulate your emotions with ease, this is quite apparent from the tone of your previous post. Deny it all you want, that's ok, you're still useless at the end of the day. Care to point out what I haven't disproven?

  • @crx122 You realize this is youtube and not a book report right? You got a tone from my posts? Its typing. So theres no way to get an accurate tone without me using capitol letters and exclamation points really. When you said youd disprove me was in response to me saying show me where i complained about the stingley hit. Once again, you havent disproved shit and you cant. So unless youre gonna prove i complained about the stingley hit, dont bother responding. Youre boring me now

  • @ssfightteam Who cares if it is Youtube? You have horrible grammar, spelling, and writing in general, it wouldn't matter if it was an essay or not. For christ's sake, you can't even spell "capital" right when trying to defend yourself. Yes, it was quite easy to grab a tone from your writing, even though it was at third grade level, with wishful thinking on my behalf. Your choice of angry vocabulary, and nonsensical babbling kind of made it obvious. Stop spinning in circles, you're wrong.

  • @crx122 Ooo no. I mispelled a word. Maybe, since its youtube, i dont give a shit?? Its obvious with youre writing that you try to sound above everyone but you are on youtube complaining about grammar? And yet again you avoid the fact that you cant prove i complained about the hit. Youre avoiding it all together cuz you know youre a fuckin idiot. You try to insult my typing to take focus away from the original arguement of the hit. So im not wrong about anything. Youre just too stupid to see it.

  • @ssfightteam The point was that it is hard to sound logical when you are as inherently stupid as you are, and more that I pity you. The real question is, what haven't you complained about? You made the bold statement that it was the "pussy football league," most like being a fat, sedentary computer tough guy. The NFL has made basic rule changes, and still allows all clean hits, just not blatant cheap shots. You call them pussies when you couldn't last a single play in the NFL. Get it now??

  • @crx122 and i found the video i was talking about where scientists explain about the chemical much stronger than adrenaline is released into your muscles which explains how and why the mountain climber lifted the 2,000 pound boulder off of him while trapped beneath it.

-just type in "achieving super human strength"

-its broken up into 4 parts

  • @crx122 Haha. Cuz it is a pussy league. How many of those beasts miss games for broken fingers and shit? You got it all wrong dick. Im not close to being fat and guarantee id last more than one play. Id definitely knock your punk ass out on the field. Nice try though. And it would be "most likely" not "most like". Uh oh. The grammar bitch misspelled a word.

  • @ssfightteam It's funny you talk about them missing games because of injury, because last time I checked, you aren't a medical doctor (and nowhere near smart enough to be) so you probably shouldn't be judging them for going by what the doctor tells them. You're the classic internet tough guy, and the way you get so defensive just shows how insecure you are, probably from getting your lunch money stolen everyday at school. I make typos like everyone, you are just an illiterate moron though.

  • @crx122 How is it defensive if its true? Thats a sad excuse to use for the big babys. The doc told them to sit out? Doctors dont have the final say on somethin as little as that. Injured spine, concussion.. Yes. Broken finger/toe.. No. You must not have ever played otherwise youd know that. Youre a hypocritical douche. I misspell a word and im an idiot but you do it and its ok? Maybe you should spend more time choking on lewis' nuts and less on the computer. Cuz you dont know shit about football

  • @ssfightteam What you fail to realize is that any players with common sense know that it is best to let an injury heal, rather than risk permanent damage, or further damaging it and having to spend MORE time out. When you look at the guys of the 70's who can hardly walk now, you realize why modern doctors got alot more smart in protecting him. It's the ignorant fuckheads like you who sit behind their computer running their mouths, being internet tough guys that DON'T KNOW FOOTBALL.

  • George Atkinson is great, I wish he had his own talk show, R,I,P, Tatum there will never be another one like you,

  • i do not like this dude he takes to many cheap shots

  • @lemuel234 Back then they weren't cheap shot all teams had players that did that shit. Jack Tatum is one of the greatest.

  • haha mel blount he deff not better then tatum

  • only reason i play safety is because of this guy.........i wasnt even born yet this guy was a BEAST

  • There will never be another jack tatum kinda player!!!

  • Sean Taylor was what Tatum would have been if he played the same time, miss them both

  • Mel Blount was better

  • @acenace24

bad mofo but no sorry man, fact

  • press 5 and you'll see the difference between football back in the day and football today if a man says he killed em today their eyes would be wide in horror just click 5 to see what i mean

  • he should be no.1

  • this guy hits people who aren't looking and are concentrating on doing something else

  • @rapiant

he "hit" and took on anybody you obviously don't know shit...Atkinson..well you might have a case there, but he doesnt deny he was dirty RAPIANT - wtf kinda name is that anyway, big ben fan?

  • @rapiant Thats what defensive players are SUPPOSED to do...cornerbacks and safeties dont say "hmm im going to wait until he catches it and focuses his attention on me before I tackle him"

  • I've read these comments. 1 question. If this is, just the way football was played back then then why wasn't someone paralyzed in every game? Going by that logic all WR's or all offensive players should have ended up paralyzed. And if he didn't paralyze someone does that mean he was coasting that day? That play was not fancy you see it all the time. That play or plays like that should have resulted in someone getting paralyzed nearly every time. The law of averages say so. Ask a mathematician.

  • I don't understand how can you talk about Jack Tatum and not even bring up the Daryl Stingley hit. I saw that game on TV and that play stopped the game for I can't remember how long and it was the topic of discussion for a very long time. I just can't fathom paralyzing someone in a pre-season game no less and the ball was no where near him. I was stunned.

  • dirtiest player of all time

  • At 1:08 the guy says that he wanted to make you regret that you ever played football. Well I'm sure Daryl Singley felt that way.

  • That's gay he should be top 2 or something he was a beast

  • just be scared of tatum

  • jack tatum is a scum piece of shit

    a COWARD!

  • All u pussy Raider fans, your team hasn`t won shit since 1984, 27 fucking years, half you bastards weren`t even born the last time the Raiders won a dam Championship so shut the fuck up. Now that`s a hard hit, lmao!!!

  • @LACraig621 And your city has a team, right? Your only championship is our championship.

27 years or 72 years, I will love my Raiders. Say what you want - your only wasting your breath.

Win, lose or tie - Raiders fan until I die

  • @keepinmypantson How ironic, LA has no football team but still has had the last championship..

  • @LACraig621 Whatever. I'm wasting my time arguing with some idiot who hides behind one point: "The Raiders haven't won a championship since 1984!"

You don't understand the concept that a true fan will stick with their team even if the next championship doesn't come until 2084. What team do you root for now? Chargers? Some other franchise which has not won a single Super Bowl? Some fair-weather team? Fuck al

Raiders for life. 70's football for life. Jack Tatum forever.

  • @keepinmypantson Just to be clear, I don't know why that says "Fuck al."

In no way is that supposed to mean Fuck Al Davis.... Don't know what it is.

  • I wouldn't want anyone getting paralyzed, but somehow it seems more logical for it to happen on the field rather than hearing about it happen because he got drunk silly and got into a major car accident or worse.

  • @Death929 Yeah your right, it`s ok that Jack Tatum hit a defenseless reciever who didn`t even have the ball, and paralized him rather then him getting paralized by some drunk driver. Your fucking either retarded or 12. Probably both.

  • I`m glad Jerk Tatum is dead, his bastard brother from another mother George "cheapshot" Atkinsons next.

  • @LACraig621 go fuck urself u panzi ass fuck

  • @LACraig621 me too

fuck that nigger, let him BIH

    Burn in HELL!

  • damn 1:12 ....faceplant

  • all I gotta say is the man is THE greatest hard hitting Raider of all time...& as for him paralyzing that patriot...it's unfortunate that it happened, but it's football. Plenty of NFL players get hurt...if you're concerned about getting hit hard maybe you should watch tennis Get2zchoppa123. The NFL ain't what it used to be...R.I.P. Jack Tatum

  • you know why he's not higher? because he paralyzed someone in a meaningless preseason game....dirty ass raiders

  • #1 Most Feared Tackler.........Sean Taylor

  • @keena302 i couldnt agreed more

  • @keena302

"Butkus wanted to put you in the cemetery, not the hospital." - Deacon Jones

Taylor's great, but Butkus was feared by officials.

  • @keena302 He got his beast on!!

  • @keena302 no way

  • @keena302 i love the hit @0:40

  • @keena302 dick butkus is the best pussy

  • @keena302 He should be number 1! I'm surprised he wasn't on this list >:(

  • @keena302 very tru the reason why he was on the list he didnt play in enuff season if he didnt get killed he would have been r.i.p sean taylor and jack tatum

  • #6 get the hell outta here! ronnie lott couldnt carry his jock, who made up this list?? Lit'l red ridding hood?

  • I mean stingley

  • @x3572 i also agree i am a huge patriots fan and that hit was legal he had no tome to readjust himself or move and it was more singletrys fault

  • Tatus was dirty and his dirty tricks and cheap shot play would not go today in the NFL. He lacked the athletic ability and was a cheap shot artist.

  • lol @ Tatum for being dead
