@s1052102 - It wasn't, if I remember correctly. The legality is dubious, because you can argue that he wasn't in possession of the ball when Hickie was in front of him, so no crossing. The way I remember it the game restarted with a lineout.

hypothetically, imagine someone coming to tackle you, you throw the ball 10 metres up in the air, he cant tackle you cause you dont have the ball...

The reason he's better than Umaga is that he has adapted his game as he got older and lost a bit of pace and has played some of his best rugby in his 30s while umaga was sitting on his paycheck in Toulon. i hope he goes to melbourne to play super 15 in 2011! he has accomplished everything he can in european rugby now and it wud be gud to see him proving that he is the best player in the world! should hav been named irb player of the year in 2009! if he played super 15 this late in his career he has nothing to lose!

u hear a lot of people, mainly from the southern hemisphere ive noticed, say how bod is overrated, he's old, and how the likes of nonu and mortlock would leave him for dead in a match.

true he may not be the fastest, or the strongest, but he isdefinetely one of the smartest tactically and when he gets rolling he is one of the best finishers ever in world rugy

Jonah Lomu was an awesome winger and due a lot of respect, but I wouldn't rate him above O'Driscoll. If we're talking all time I would put lomu N.1 for the AB's either, I'd have C.Cullen or if things keep going the way they're going Carter
