No,, it is not perfectly legal for the crew to host someone in the cockpit. I am a real world pilot and I have been asked many times and I have to deny them. You may only ride cockpit if you are maitenance and or another pilot riding jump seat. However,,, you can leave the sound next time. There is nothing said in the cockpit that can jeapordize the saftey of a flight that has already landed and the video is on here.

Its nice to see a MADDOG blue cockpit with EFIS. Never though they existed in real life till now. Thanks for the video.

Interesting this AZ MD-82 has an EFIS glass cockpit. Would have been nice if the cameraman zoomed out a little..

For the camera shaking...I was in the cockpit and I was not paying too much attention to the LCD, I prefer to watch outside! :)
The blurries are 'cause my photocamera in movie mode can't change focus, so the focus is sticked on the short-field.
