Okay guys. Yellow itself is NOT the weakness of the Green Lanterns. FEAR is. And in the DC Universe color isn't just color it's a representation of a feeling on a spectrum (the rainbow.) Green is the color of courage. Yellow is the color of fear. The GL corps trapped a parasitic embodiment of fear named Parallax in the power batteries. Parallax was so strong that he weakened the ring's control of the corresponding spectrum (Parallax is yellow.) So that's why the rings didn't work against yellow.

But recently Parallax was released from the battery and the GL corps learned of the true reason they couldn't fight against yellow (fear). And now the GL Corps has no weakness since they know now that it's not yellow that's a weakness, but fear. And everytime a Green Lantern puts on his/her ring they overcome fear, and thus overcome the yellow impurity. So yeah. Blaze can feel free to bring it on. :)

Green Lantern rings are powered by willpower, not courage. Courage by overwhelming their own personal fear unlocks the full potential of the ring. It's mentioned Rookie corps members would still have trouble with yellow objects if yo
