i wish you would have given a closer look at the brush strokes. every time i try to use eyeshadow to fill in my brows it looks so fake but i really want it to work for me. =[

u can fill them in with the shadow, then brush them out with a clean mascara wand :)

I need major brow help! my faceshape is similar to yours, long oval, and I have the crappy rounded brows! I KNOW they would look better with more arch but I just don't know where to start, and I'm afraid to go to a waxer because of bad past experience... :( (Plus I've never seen any threading in my city.) Thanks! this video was so helpful! i have the exact same colouring as you, pale skin, dark hair an blue eyes. an my eyebrows are very fair an although i want them defined, i dont want them as dark as my hair cos they are naturally fair an i tried it before and it just looked too much an false. but ur's is spot on..great video!

Amazing tutorial Carly :) the way you do your eyebrows is the way I do mine. Have tried pencils but found it looks harsh on me :( so the shadow works perfect! Annnd always looking gorgeous

I totally agree with you on not depositing too much color on the innermost corner of the brow. I've seen other gurus emphasize and really darken that area and it looks so unnatural and it makes the eyes look closer together IMO. You are really good at what you do, thanks for sharing your knowledge. =)

This. It drives me CRAZY as a make up artist/cosmetologist to see people do that. Nobody's eyebrows look like that naturally.... I guess if you WANT the drawn on look, but I don't know why anyone would!
