  • @Tranzlane New Orleans street musicians. A throwback to the early century. Kids used to make money by danicng and singing using homemade instruments in the streets for for pennies.

  • @Tranzlane

first 19 years of my life are confusing too but that doesn't mean it wont make sense in the end, just play it true live the adventure and follow where ewer it leads !

  • 21 dislikes?

  • @PlaygroundPolitician those with no Soul clicked dislike 21 times!

  • @stopallot dunno what happened..I was saying..those with no ears or eyes too...and it astounds me that there are 22 people with absolutely NO taste..I work with one, she thinks that Justin Beiber is soulful and that the Saturdays are talented...as well as several dire Albanian wannabegangsta boys who hark back to 91...and some girls with not many clothes on who sound like they are about to burst into tears, that's not soul..makes my ears bleed. Meanwhile..thank fkuc for Mark xx

  • @1690Adamrfc One of them for sure!

  • with this song it is so weird seeing all those other band posters on that wall at 1:39 like Tokyo Police Club and Neko Case. Cool effect tho, like saying "this town used to be fun"

  • @jiminy82 feeling the same way

  • I love Soulsavers and I love this song. Not very orginal or funny, but truth none the less.

  • re; thereal grim rainbow. it doesn't need to be pithy or witty, just how it is

  • why would it need to be funny?

  • It doesn't. Forget the comment. It's not really worth commenting on. Glad we both like the song...

  • damn that was suprisingly civilized, kickass

  • I was surprised myself. Straight Rye finally did some good.

  • strait rye always works

  • Describing this song is difficult. The atmosphere is like walking through a dark forest with rays of light seeping through intermittently. It is simultaneously uplifting and introspective.

One of the most brilliant songs I have ever heard.

  • Good support act for Depeche Mode at Manchester I thought.

  • Not a bad support act for DM thought they sounded very much like Another Mute records group Nick cave and the bad seeds But couldnt really make out what the lyrics being sung where Shame really listening to this now they sound really good

  • Went to see Mode at Glasgow.

    Soulsavers caught my attention.

Never heard of them till then.

    Like em.

  • Got salvia?

  • seeing them tonight with DM at the NEC Birmingham

  • seen them yesterday with depeche mode.... not that bad i guess

  • im seeing them tonight in camden. with DM? brilliant

  • I'll be there too:)

  • how fucking great was it?! loved it :)

  • the harmonies on the chorus are better in this version although they are both really good versions of the same song

  • I like the original a bit more (it's more personal/stripped down), but this is a damn good version.

  • DJs- music starts at :19

  • yes, digo yes, esto che podria decir mucho mas pero no tengo nada que decir

  • Unfortunately I've only seen Mark Lanegan with Queens Of The Stone Age but he was damn good singing the songs he does for them. Autopilot I love. All the Soulsavers material is great. Brilliant music and incredible vocals. Not many better emotive vocalists.

  • I a good song and a good video, it really has meaning...which is more than can be said for most of the music videos I've ever seen.

  • I LOVE Mark Lanegan. I just about shit my shorts when I saw him and Greg Dulli at the Troubadour.

  • This is a great song just as it is but I can imagine Johnny Cash singing this as if he actually did.

  • Lie To Me... de ahi me quedo este tema...

  • Lie To Me :)

  • a great version of a great song better even than the one on WFTHG,made even more poigniant(spelling?)by the imagery on screen

  • Слушаю - и ощущение будто я родилась где-то, когда-то в какой-то дыре вчто в Канзасе или Айове - всё там осталось моё - жутко мрачно-величественное ощущение... великая песня, клип великий!

  • It's good! And sad. Sorry i don't know them. Is it a M. Lanegan's group? tanks for any new. Great.

  • where was this filmed?

  • I think new orleans, before and after katrina... so sad.

  • thanks man.

  • It's a brilliant and wonderful song and Mark Lanegan is a god and all that...

but what are those first 20 seconds ?

are those not part of the real video or what ?

  • If you pay close attention that first 20 seconds is the raw footage they use in places in the video

  • this song got soul.

hard thing to find in music nowdays.
