  • You might think about adding the miso the last step since boiling miso paste is not reccomended as it may destroy important quality or enzymes in the miso. Add the miso after the soup has cooled below boiling temperature.

  • I thought all miso is made with a dashi base, but I didn't see you put that in there.

  • I just made this soup for dinner and it is great. It's easy to make and the bonito flakes do not make the soup fishy. Thanks for sharing this easy to make recipe.
